Three live bombs fired by Pakistani fighter aircraft are still lying at LoC

In the 27 Feburary dogfight, the Pakistan Air Force fired a total of 11 H-4 bombs and 4 or 5 AMRAAM missiles, but not one could hit a target.

We are no less than China? You must remember that in the present day PLA, 80% are conscripts with compulsory service for 4 years. They are kids from single child families who are pampered and more into computer games than facing the rigours of soldering. They have ZERO experience of fighting in mountainous terrain and no match for the well trained battle hardened mountain troops of the Indian Army.

The PLA has not fought a war since their rout by a much smaller but committed Vietnamese army in 1979 who sent them packing in less than a month. They got a bloody nose at Nathula in 1967 when 400 of them were killed by the Indian Army and scores of their gun positions destroyed. Somdorungchu in AP in 1987 was another embarrassment for them when the Chinese withdrew without a whimper with the PLA's tails tucked firmly between their hind legs!

So please don't say that we are no less than China. We are way ahead! Period!

As a matter of fact, the big bad PLA got yeeted by who were essentially Vietnamese guerrillas as their Army was busy raping the Khmer Rouge at that time.

Igla M isn't inducted or operational? Isn't it a inducted system?
Why not repeat order for for Igla S and upgrade Igla M to near about Igla S standard ( to be done)?
Why a new competition?
Igla is a system as is Tatra.
The answer to the above lies in the fact that, why wasn't the tender for 8*8 or 12*12 high mobility platform or was it? And why or why not was it Tatra repeat order?

Incase of a major conflict , quite possible our telecom , core banking and electricity grid will be hit first .

The earlier 40000 hack attempts could have been only probing . they will go all out just before conflict starts

There are two parts to electricity generation, first part is generators. I believe worst case scenario is just shut down Chinese generators. Second part is Grid. Here any doubtful Chinese equipment will need to be replaced.

I think telecom and banks are the most vulnerable. Here again option to switch off or replace China made equipment must be explored.

The large number of Chinese mobiles are hard to replace. But traffic can be controlled at the backbone. All traffic to china can be blocked.

Guys, help me understand something.

So the airfields in Tibet are ill-conducive to taking off with full payload. So, what if Chinese jets took off from the closest airstrip that lets them take off with full armaments, and along with a mid air tanker. The tanker pumps fuel into them over Tibet, or right before entering engagement territory, and then lands on some Tibetan airstrip. They don't have the fuel loaded into them so they can take off and return to its base in plains.

The fighters however have full fuel, as well as full weapons load. Is this what the Chinese are aiming for?

Already in consideration of our military strategists. Only problem? China has very few capable A2A refuellers, with only 3 IL-78 (India has 6) and outdated H-6 bombers converted to A2A refuellers (10 odd). Moreover, these H-6 A2A refuellers probes are not compatible with Russian jets (Su-30, J-11, Su-35, J-16).
Also to be noted fuel capacity of H-6 is not much, and a single Flanker can dry it out.

So, their operational capability of PLAAF is hugely affected. This is one of the reasons China is sure of using Pakistani airbases to increase its numbers. Otherwise, PLAAF is both qualitatively as well as quantitatively inferior to IAF in Tibet. Ramping up numbers, at least they will be able to offset the quantitative edge.

Right now u can see GOI going for emergency purchase . There is news of isreali air defence system . Defence min going to russia for fighter jets nd equipments .. squadron strength is so low whn u take 2 front war scenario news of 6 rafael makes us happy .. We need 42 squadron but we have 28 . There are many game changing weapon systems which have nt been delivered yet .. what all these tells u ? We r nt prepared but preparing fr the worst . Here we r the weaker force whn there is probability of 2 front war . And weaker force does nt determine the terms of aggresson .
