S 400 is never deployed as stand alone system. Russkie designed it as part of IADS which means it works with other system like ToR M1 or Pantsir to take out cruise missile or UAV. Yes and as per their configuration each Regiment has 2 battalions (with 2 batteries each) so 6 battalions or 12 batteries in total (each battery has 4 launchers). You can be sure 1 regimental set is now looking over LAC. A battalion can be upto 100 km away from the Regimental Control centre, so a fairly spread out net.
