There is nothing like 'people believe'! If you are told 150 of your men are dead, will you believe. Your psychology is set in such a way that you are unable to accept losses.

You can react to facts; once such facts are verified.

China is not West. China has no value system which largely stems from organized religions. China is the most materialistic country in the world perhaps.

But China has come to this stage of strength due to accommodation by West. Remember West has been largely dismissive of India. Things have changed only in the last two years when China upped its island base building in south china sea and West saw the clear danger from its activities.

We must be very careful and reserved with all matters related to China.
