India is developing many ICBR s in Himachal Pradesh mainly -
1. Manali – Sarchu = 230 km
2. Ambala – Kalka – Shipkila – Himalayan Tibet Road -480 km
3. Darcha – Singola – 27.5 km
4. Gramphu – Samdo – Via Kaj – 216 km
6. Snansari – Tandi via Killar -125 km
7. Wangtu – Pooh = 89 km

Himachal is fast emerging as the all-weather link and communication area and rear base for Ladakh linking Manali with Sarchu which is in South Eastern Ladakh just West of Demchok. In order to go to DBO. now one does not have to go to Leh but hit DSDBO road from Sarchu. With new roads coming up, Himachal will also emerge as a capable Launchpad.
