But even if nothing is declared and there is no war.
India still wins. Just like doklam peace will be called Chinese defeat world over since china couldn't stop indian infra building.

if that’s the narrative that’s played out. All the more better. But I think it’s Better to ensure the newly constructed posts and bunkers are vacated by the Chinese. To do that we need a military confrontation.
it just takes one weak govt like congressto screw out battle readiness in terms of a fresh confrontation in the future if the Chinese are allowed to be bunkered in at their newly put up posts no?

First of all S400 is a SAM with limited ABM role if you meant that.
Second, it is as good as its RADAR gets. Means it is only a threat when its RADAR gets to detect you.
Third, if you are talking of S400 tackling missiles like BRAHMOS, then again it is as good as its RADAR detection ability.

So yeah, it is difficult to beat it, but not impossible.

If it is a plan, it is foolish. Biological warfare is no joking matter. Might as well had launched a massive nuclear first strike against the rest of the world.

I think they are being opportunistic, that is all. Simple cost-benefit analysis keeping internal and external politics and economics in mind. It is a tone-deaf approach when it comes to optics, but it is up to us to raise the costs of war higher than any benefit they could hope to acquire.
