How did India capture this? The vehicle clearly retreated back to Chinese side as seen in the video. Capturing a Chinese Vehicle without a open conflict will cause diplomatic trouble for india.

heh? China can invade KMs into Indian territory, beat up Indian soldiers remorselessly- you saw the pictures, however much we deny it, tie them up and treat them like animals, and that does not cause a diplomatic trouble for China. But capturing a vehicle tresspassing on Indian soil, keeping it in custody for several years to "study" it, will? I think we scare ourselves into complete inaction even before the chinese have done anything, that they dont need to do anything! Like saying, so jaa bete, nahin to Gabbar aa jaayega.

Indian Soldiers are carrying Rifles without Magzines. It also seems that they are not carrying any Magzine pounches also. The deployment is not armed for even basic skirmish, not even bayonets.

These videos are just moral booster for Indian public, and does not really clarify the position.

Before challenging the chinese in the grey area.. India needs to make sure that we have road connectivity to the areas which we control, like finger 4. That is exactly what this government is doing, because until that happens Indian foot patrol will be at the mercy of China's superior logistics.. So, the chinese dont want us to... and are escalating in the grey area.. to force India to deescalate by stopping road building close to LAC..
And yes, Indian average height has been overtaken by the Chinese over the past century..They are taller than us, by about an inch..

How can you clarify that photo is 100% authentic? Why Chinese didn't released a video? Even if it's real then we salute our troops for serving the country. Moral of india is very strong we are used to seeing battle casualties i would say india is a battle harden country.

India is continuing it's road projects and infrastructure creation project no matter what? So for what you are blabbering for?
Army chief is saying that if aggression is happening from both side it means we are also fighting back to any aggression.

Also, roughly 40 percent children suffer from malnutrition to some extent... Hence, our average height suffers..

Yeah no kidding. I know that. But the average Indian is bigger than the average Chinese as a known fact. Heights wise and length wise(down below ).
I’m not looking at that table in wikipedia, because Tibetans are not Chinese. Tibetans are tall. That would definitely skew the table in their favor.
