Since early May 2020, Chinese have been hindering India's normal patrolling pattern in the area. This resulted in face-off which was addressed by ground commanders. We don't accept the contention that India was unilaterally changing status quo, we were maintaining it: MEA

I think all this for taking back PoK. If the person who posted that the Indian tricolour is flying high on the haji peer then I think India has already started the assault on the prokis.... And this leaves us to an understanding that the chinese are pretending like they are attacking India to show the porkis that the chinese are on the porkis side....
See conjectures do not help. Let us focus on events happening as is. So far Chinese game-plan looks big and threatening. Assuming they have come to play cricket is kinda foolish.

Let us not assume anybody is pretending.

My first post in this forum..Hi all
Dont know this is the right thread,Is there any setup or platform where we citizens can provide financial help anonimously to the families of our martyred soldiers..?Not just this time but every time when our soldiers lives are sacrificed.
Coming to the topic- In this age where nations strive to improve "image",It isn't much highlighted in the international media how our soldiers were murdered in cold blood. When they went unarmed as per agreement,Chinese were waiting for with fukin nail studded batons and beat many to death!!Shouldnt that be a warcrime?Should chinese treachery be condemned by every sensible nation,at least those with anti china stance?Like USA,EU,Vietnam,Taiwan,Japan etc..Most of them are just reporting that India and china had a clash and 20 Indians died!
Also, can some member educate me on what Indian army/Govt gained not mentioning or acknowledging chinese casualities?(chinese helis were in and out of the clash site for hours! It was not for sight seeing)
Yes the army welfare fund and battle casualties fund -

Nothing wrong in saying ones opinion. Think you are bit bossy.... Stop that.... Everyone is free to tell their opinion.... If don't like them you just ignore it....

Sri Ram.. Sri Ram... Jai jai Ram. Forgive me for these violent ideas early morning.

Galwan Valley is such a narrow valley which hardly provide suitable deployment areas. If one looks at recent satellite images Chinese are deployed in a few blobs and the all along the valley in a linear fashion. Spread over many kms,

The Chinese are busy constructing vehicle tracks and roads on both the the side of the stream that will facilitate faster movement of vehicles as also some dispersal in deployment.

Share scale of deployment appears to be about a brigade group .

Chinese are also resorting to temporary types of dam construction that inables them to release water on occasions and make it difficult for Indian soldier to cross the Galwan river specially in their approach to Area PP14.

This is a picture which presents itself as an ideal target for aerial engagements by strafing, rocket attacks, missile attacks and even for carpet bombing. Any aerial platform will do. However the most suitable will be Apaches. Constant passes of fully loaded Apaches one after the other will bring a doom to this brigade group. They can not even run away. Both sides have steep sloped rocky cliffs.
This is such a good sight for employment of all 28 Apaches,.

For IA gunners some time ahead to shoot linear engagements - batteries engaging six hundred meters in one go but in high angle. Practice it dudes.
you may require it sooner than expected.

This is also a good opportunity for our special among specialists who should keep ready their designators and mountaineering equipment. They will get their Tom Clancy moments along with Ibexes.

I hope Northern Command has put some upcoming battalions on Cliff Assault training at some appropriate school. Siachin battle school may train some battalions in Ice Cliff assaults and negotiating icy tops. Some tops will have to be occupied as firm bases for assaulting down the slopes.

8 Rafales will land in July they are pushing for 4 more deliveries before year end . It takes time to make fighter jet we placed order only in 2016 . Even if we order Su and Mig they won't come before 2022 for sure
Russia have built MIG from long ago all their Frame are new just need to integrate the hard points as per our requirements. And regarding SU India have the full capacity to make them in a very short term. It will be done within few months

vstol-jockey from other forum was saying that Chinese are already prepared to give Gilgit-Baltistan in return for joining CPEC as without India, CPEC is non-starter. Also, their complete dominance in Pakistan enables them this concession to India....

If it is so easy, then it could be a ruse by the Chinese too?

US is finally serious about upgrading B-52 bombers which are truly ancient as planes go. If upgrades are done this plane may continue to fly till 2040; a really long run. Most planes have a life of 20-30 years after which metal fatigue become an issue.

Indian air force should also keep old planes in reserve, just in case. But I think IAF does not keep too many fighters in reserve.

Someone said that Indian tricolour flag is flying high on the haji peer..... Can anyone confirm this?
Let’s stop speculating . Someone said that we had captured fingers 4-8. Turns out that it wasn’t true. If India had attacked Pakistan or vice verse the Pakistanis would have been on the rooftops shouting about it.
