My worry is that if we don't push the Chinese back, they will just build up and stay in most of these places permanently. They did in Doklam, even if on their side but they will force us to either match them or be vulnerable to further territorial loss. If we have to be permanently stationed there, better to do so on the offensive defending territory we claim rather than on the defensive

Anyone thinking that the Chinese haven't come prepared is probably underestimating them. This is Doklam part 2, only this time the Chinese have come prepared for the long haul.

Around the same time, the Pakistan Air Force will have 25 fighter squadrons while China’s PLA Air Force is estimated to have the capacity to bear 42 squadrons against India.

That is all wrong when did PLAAF squadron touched low of 42 and PAF's squadrons reached 25

You may be correct. I am not arguing about the benefits of recognizing Taiwan. But, the contention that if we may do so, then it is equivalent to legitimizing their claim over Aksai Chin and Arunachal Pradesh.

I guess few years ago even Dalai lama said Tawang is part of Tibet, then the dude had to change its statement. Before recognising Taiwan we may ask them to recognise Arunachal as Indian territory. Aksai Chin is a different matter no body actually knows where the actual boundary is both Indian & Chinese claims are different & British gifted us this mess. Taiwan can show it as disputed at least. One China stand needs to go away & closer ties with HK & Taiwan are in our interests. It is not as tough as it looks.
