So What is the crux of India's response as given in the above article -

* No pussyfooting the Chinese . no appeasement, no weakness.
* Resolute in military posture / action while continuing diplomatic talks.
* No adventurism on Economic front in a manner that harms India.
* Be prepared for "Takaraw", "Takkar" or "Clash" to restore the status quo.
* Continued military preparedness and infrastucture development near the LAC.

What is different this time - Use military as an instrument of Diplomacy towards stabilization of LAC which was shunned by mandarins so far. LAC can no longer to be subjected to funny Chinese perceptions which the Chinese would change at the slightest pretext.

What are the dangers Involved. The "Existing LAC" should not be allowed to be construed to the boundary between India and China. If China is rattled by Amit Shah's pronouncements that Aksaichin belongs to India. they should remain rattled and worried on that account. Being defensive on that amounts to endorsing 1962 Chinese military aggression and illegal occupation of Indian Territory.

As such, India has no single reason to give into Chinese...
if they continue like this, their defenses in East would be affected by a great deal.

There is no way they can sustain this in Ladakh and AP and continue their hostilities in SCS, Taiwan & Japan.

We are fixated with regaining the territory from Finger 4 point to Finger 8.The Chinese had simply occupied vacant land when our patrols were not there. They did not fight our men or overrun our post. No combat took place. We did not expect their actions. But it is nothing heroic done by the PLA. Ghar khali thaa. Gusgaya.

They have taken the initiative. The best course of action will be to occupy strategic piece of land elsewhere on the LAC which will cause pain to them. The PLA does not occupy every inch of the LAC on their side. If it was easy for them it will be equally easy for us. Retaking our positions in Galwan Valley, Pangong Tso and Hot Springs is very much possible but we can achieve our objectives at a lesser cost by forcing the PLA to negotiate an exchange of encroached land.

We should go ahead and capture an equivalent area of Chinese controlled Tibet immediately. If the PLA builds permanent or semi permanent structures on our land we do the same on the land we capture.

I think as far as S400s are concerned, PARA SF are our best bet. In my opinion this is the most efficient and effective way as well. I think they can do a HAHO jump and land near the batteries and do what they do. What I don't know due to lack of knowledge is how will they get extracted in a war situation when Chinese are alert

Did the PARA boys then settled down in Pakistan after that ??

Look, I get that you’re pissed off because you thought that was an Indian. Believe me if it was, I would too. But as per my observations and all of my conversations with guys who are in China, Indians are treated waaaay better. The reason that the chinks are aggressive towards the pakis is because they have an inherent animosity towards Muslims. Literally all of them. They also do not consider the pakis on their level. Depends on what was the significance of that arty was at that point in time. Also I took the excerpt from the summary of 1971 war in context of the PARA SF. Exact details are further in the article - link at the end.

They were tasked to destroy supply lines , backup military hardware and to create confusion Inside the enemy territory , as per the article they traversed around 500km in the enemy terriroty. There were two teams , one was specifically a "pathfinder" team which was tasked to plan a route for the alpha team. Seems like they were out on a tour - tour-de-annihlation . Prior to the raid they were trained for 5 months. PARA SFs are the epitome of extraordinaire of our military might, they are trained for the unthinkable.
