Ya'll Nibbiars I always thought Soviet cinema was similar to our's parallel cinema that why Indian films were blockbusters in the USSR due to lack of such family entertainment film's.

Ya'll Nibbiars Well but when you compare this with india we didn't even had a stable electricity grid at that time. Forget about even tv. Only few houses in cities owned a television set's and the means of the entertainment was the film's. And even the cars were rare scene only in 90's with the free market economy all the process happened specially during the ABV Goverment.

Then the difference between the 80's USSR and India was not that much expect a higher salary in the Soviet Republic's

What destroyed USSR was western sanctions, wasting too much resources on military and ofcourse "communism"

USSR without above mentioned problems and a free market economy would've been where China is today.

Well you paid the price for developing many other states and braking inevitable bulldozing of colonial states by former powers. Had USSR not armed countries like India, Vietnam etc we would have been raped. Thanks to Soviet for arming us to the teeth but also for fcking us with socialist economy.

It was of some relief from Stalin era but they really needed to open up their economy like China. I think USSR didn't want to compromise their failed commie ideology otherwise world would've been a different place.

The economy was (((opened up))), which is why RusFed was a clusterfuck throughout the 90s before pic related took over and brought stability to Russia.

The USSR commie party did compromise with their meme commie ideology, by dissolving that country.
Current Russia's problems are more of the West painting it as the bogeyman and sanctioning it to sh*t than anything else.

Perhaps all the land grabs and foreign interventions RusFed has engaged in is also to show the Russian proles that Tsar Putin is indeed a 56" chested macho leader, and Russia is still a Great Power.
