The Israel's needed four platforms spanning a little over 2 decades to get their ingeniously developed Merkawa (ignore the spelling) MBT at par with the US and the Russian systems. Surely you cannot expect us to get it sorted out right in our first try !

The Arjun has been validated as one of the best in the world by many including IA generals, foreign consultants... It was thinking like yours that the DRDO can't deliver that lead to the purchase of T90's.

Dude you need to get your history correct. The US did not hire German minds to work on their rocket systems. They used CAPTURED German scientists. There's a huge difference between the two and if you are not suggesting that we abduct the top minds of the defense labs around the world, I suggest that you get off this thread.

guys, Iam also heart broken on DRDO performance. Most of you guys are pissed off but did't able to reply to my Q.

Despite of DRDO, y we are still rely more than 96% on foreign mall ..

Iam not against Parhar but Q the reliability of DRDO products

That is not DRDO's fault, the army choose to go with the T90 because they felt that the DRDO can't deliver but when all the dust settled Arjun seems to be a better platform than the T90. If the Army had a choice it would go back and choose the Arjun over the T90

Russians are preventing the development of Arjun to keep their T-90 monopoly. India at may some point in the future have more T-90's than Russia.
