Yes.

It's not a huge river though. There's a bridge, but further down, which is good since it'll be taking direct fire if Chinese attack it if built opposite to Chinese lines.

Behind the river is good defensible position. The reason the bridge hasn't been built is probably due to possibility of Chinese flooding it, again.

Why are you guys doing this.

No leasing of anything. No nuclear subs, no airplanes, no carriers. At best we will get a couple squadrons of some planes manned by Americans in some base and option to get them to airstrike.

Anyway trump was aching to reduce American military presence in EU for a long time because of his ambition to bring back American soldiers home. And want EU to spend more on military.
Germany on the other hand said Americans are leaving strategic locations and trump have also degraded the relationship with Germany alot.
