Oh my, what a widow wailing spectacle this has been from the morning!

I request my Indian brother and sisters, please -

• Show restraint. Lots of fake news and cover-ups are going through. If you hear good news, post it. If you hear bad news, verify it first, then think if is it worth posting.
  
  
• One thing is sure, whole lot of Indian media and reporters who have deep contacts cannot be wrong always. Not all reporters are sellouts. Few are, you know them from (bad) reputed news channels and their past reputations, but not all.
  
  
• Follow the 3 - source rule. If 3 independent sources report the same news, it is indeed true.
  
  
• Even if you see sad news, don't go on overdrive and start randi-rona. We are fighting China, they are stronger than us militarily. You expect us to win Rambo-style? Strengthen your hearts, comrades!
  
  
• And last, of all, trust our leadership and military. They need it. I am not saying trust BJP, you can decide upon them in coming elections in whatever way you deem fit. Trust the government in power to take care of the situation.

Unofficial version says 2 seriously injured , many with minor injuries . All taken by helicopter to a field hospital, treated and released .

One guy claims he heard rumors of 55 on our side , 200 on theirs . He wants the Indian army wiped out.

Well as much as I understood the chene intension is to acquire area till mouth of Shyok river ( after Shyok river bridge complete they feel Insecure IA troops cross to Galwan river valley). This will give them to monitor DBO road runs through west Bank of Shyok river. If this happens Strategically IA troops and DBO road will be at mercy of Chene

The way I see it, it will be like shooting fish in barrel situation for them at receiving end, if India wants to go the offensive. they can’t climb the on the mountains with their equipment, they have to back out from the same way they brought their equipment in i.e along the river.

But the prize lies in the west,

Galwan valley , F4-F8 cant support any major armor thrust to block the Darbuk-Shyok-DBO road,

Galwan valley too deep, too narrow & with freezing temp most part of the year, It will be a death trap fr any enemy,

Especially with Excalibur rounds, long stand off precision munitions from ever modernizing IAF,

Pangong Tso F4-F8 too is narrow , with a hill feature at F4 obstructing armor movement, a natural boundary,


WIth newly raised mountain strike corps, far shorter IA supply line, lare number of IAF bases in north,

IT would be suicide fr PLA to try to interdict Darbuk-Shyok-DBO road, from these areas.

Darbuk-Shyok-DBO road, checks chinese advance on ladakh from east, buttressing indian hold over Ladakh sub sector north, steeling the defence and logistics of DBO , strengthening our hold over areas south of karakorum pass.

ANd this allows india to build many roads ,logistic channels criss crossing entire ladakh facilitating integrated defence of ladakh,


This makes it feasible fr IA to strike in Giljit baltistan area , if that happens PLA wont be able to come to the rescue of PA, because of the mountain strike corps & logistics of DSDBO road, The CPEC corridor based on karakorum highway, which passes through kunjerab pass is not an all weather road fr china to support pak in Giljit baltistsan

If we built this vital road earlier we would not hav seen so many chinese pockets in the area,

Let me give you the bitter pill:

1. The CO did not have an overwatch. You always have an overwatch (armed) when such situations occur. No ROE prevents you from taking precautions to protect your men and yourself.

2. Stupid logic of having served in UN so he went to make Chinese vacate is being forwarded. Pure stupid. Nothing of the sort.

3. The Chinese casualties are estimates. Estimates are based on what you assume you know. And has an observer bias always. The scuffle was uphill for own troops. Let me know when person throwing stones from top is dominated by those from bottom running up a rocky terrain in high altitude. And moving in phases. More crap than I can rebut floats around. Facts do not have PLA casualties greater than IA, including all types KIA and wounded (even scratched).

4. Indication that the captured troops were paraded in a humiliating manner at the Div Commander meet is coming forth.

5. There is a rumor that the IA first attacked. Non-sense. They were 'lured in' I wrote 'suckered in'.

6. Now the PLA is testing Indian political will in Arunachal. You will start hearing of standoffs there in a few days. Large tracts of land remain mutually uninhabited - PLA is moving in even as our politicians twiddle their thumbs.

7. IA was asked to pull back from some features as part of CBM …. without verifying actual PLA withdrawal. That is off the record strictly.

Things are starting to potentially shape up the way Hellfire had said:
