ऐसे में...एक झड़प होती है...जिसमे एक देश के 20 जवान शहीद हो जाते हैं...और पूरी दुनिया चीन के खिलाफ मोर्चा खोल देती है...जबकि चीन के भी 45 सैनिक मारे जाते हैं...ऐसा नहीं होता...ऐसा हो ही नहीं सकता...चीन आपके देश मे आग लगवा देगा...आपके खुद के देश ऐसी अव्यवस्था फैलेगी कि आप चीन से क्या लड़ेंगे...आपको खुद को बचाने के लाले पड़ जाएंगे...ये बात हर देश के मुखिया को समझ मे आती है...यही वजह है कि आजतक चीन हर किसी को दबाता रहा...

My point was- either we have to attain the tech advancement to have mechanised unmanned border in winter, or free Tibet and install a friendly govt so we can vacate those areas in winter without the worry of getting Kargilled.

Till then, holding that area in winter is going to a problem with a humiliated, belligerent China looking for payback. The problem isn't toughness of our brothers, but logistical and financial. Siachen is expensive, now multiply that few thousand times.

Finally it looks like the Chinese have come under pressure from Who knows? and started the sensible course of beginning to restore status quo ante along the LAC.
How sincere they will be and whether they will get back to April 2020 positions everywhere is a big question mark.

But for India the latest series of incidents raises a lot of worry. We have to deal with a country which does not respect signed bilateral agreements and feels it can do whatever it wants. It is pure arm twisting and blackmail. The Chinese by their actions want to keep us nervous and unsettled. What they wish to achieve by these tactics is another topic of discussion.

I feel that we cannot live in perpetual fear of possible Chinese actions. The cat has to be belled. The only way we can change their arrogant attitude is by gaining their respect. This respect can only be gained on the battle field. Only by inflicting very painful losses on the PLA can we instil a degree of fear in the Chinese. Long-term durable peace will come only if the PLA is tamed. The Chinese should realise that provoking India will lead to unacceptable losses.

A localised limited war seems inevitable if we have to change Chinese behavior. The sooner we realise this, the better. We need to seriously prepare for a limited war with the PLA probably lasting a few weeks. We will make the sacrifices necessary but teach the PLA the lesson of their lives. Unless they begin to fear us peace will not come.

We have given the inbred Pakistanis such a beating that do not dare to even think of a conventional war with us and rely on terrorism to pinprick us. The nation which used to declare that 1 Pakistani soldier is equal to 10 Indian soldiers is now scared shit of our capability.

It is well within our capability to teach a similar lesson to the Chinese. The Ba**ta*ds need to be taught a humiliating lesson. They are the aggressors here and even morally we are on the higher ground.

I think we should try to do a reverse 1962 on Pakistan. A sudden attack on GB this winter outta nowhere after all mountain passes are closed along LAC. During US elections may be the perfect window.

Siachen is sustainable because it's a comparatively small area. Aksai, and whole of Indo-Tibet border is massive. The problem will be financial. Siachen is pretty expensive to hold, but it's sustainable due to size.

Even the soldiers posted there have to be put on rotation due to the hostile weather that whittles away at their vitality. So, the same condition throughout a massive area will be a stress on manpower as well.

We need either a tech advancement or a political solution (Tibet) to hold on that territory.

Btw, this same will affect China this year if they decide to camp. I'm looking forward to them realising the price of crossing us. Either they defend, or fear getting Kargilled.

This also holds true for Pakistan as well. Their economy is also at their lowest. Besides we have done emergency procurement as well & majority of equipment is ready in ladakh along with troops. I don't see any reason that now is not the perfect time.
