Well talks at this point is just gesture so that MEA of both sides can claim they are working towards a peace resolution.
China only respects raw power and they think we are too weak to negotiate with them.

The only way forward here is buildup of military & economic strength so that we can match & pushback PLA when the next opportunity arises.
