The 100 mm mortar is a good comprise between a 81 / 82 mm mortar and a heavier 120mm mortar.
We need to have atleast one mortar for 2 platoons or something.

IBG was penned down on paper but never formally implemented.
ORBAT/OOB of IBG is not known. That thing was tested only once or twice and after that it was `back to the drawing board`.

This memorial was built by 8 Kumaon in 2020, the land itself was on patrol not occupied land. This memorial was built by 8 kumaon to show they are 1. Proactively patrolling Chinese and 2. to commerate the legendary stand of Rezang La.

Yes,looks like an incredibly childish idea to try to discredit the PLA.
Come on,are the Chinese service men 5th standard kids to play a prank like this.
If they had reported that those missiles had defective liquid rocket fuel filling etc(assuming that the missiles were liquid fuelled) then maybe some of us could probably look at the report closely.

Corruption in the ranks of the PLA and the CCP is entirely possible and believable.
