Chinese weaknesses Indian Ocean

Chinese pinpricks in Himalayas are designed to keep India off balance. They know very well that the Indian Army is well positioned and seasoned to frustrate any of their designs. They caught India off guard in Ladakh but the beating they received in Tawang (Arunachal Pradesh) will stay in their psyche for a long time. Earlier than later, they will stage a similar act elsewhere and get beaten again.

The Himalaya and their excessive friendship for Pakistan (CPEC) is a sideshow. They really impede India's ability to focus on the Indian Ocean and its trade routes. These are of utmost importance to them. Their trade and import of oil from the Middle East flows through it. At the moment, India has full control of these sea lanes and all ingress to Indian Ocean from the East. India with naval & air base at Andaman, can block Straits of Malacca, Sunda & Lombok.

The Chinese understand it perfectly well. They have built the largest navy in last 7 years, but all of it is built on copied technology, which at best is second class. Also lack training and experience to fight a battle 4,000 km away in the Indian Ocean is their main weakness. Their base in Djibouti keeps a close eye on the Suez Canal and nothing else. It is 2,000 km from threatening Indian West Coast. Other naval lease sights at Hambantota in Sri Lanka or Gawadar in Pakistan are truly commercial cum resupply sites which makes them useless from the military point and are within easy reach of the Indian Navy.

Hence Chinese know all this well, they also know the growing power of the highly modern Indian Navy plus add to this 4,000 km distance for the Chinese navy and followed by the reach of Indian shore based missiles and aircrafts, they are doomed, no matter which way you look.

Hence, knowing their own naval weaknesses, the Chinese wish to keep the Himalayan frontier always active with pinpricks here and there all the time, plus encourage Pakistan to keep making threatening noises across the border.

The key is; not getting defocussed from building the Indian navy.

Yes that all may be true but we cannot become complacent for one day they will become a very formidable navy. All great endeavors have humble beginnings.

Excuses excuses. Electronics are needed for making everything from refrigerators to cars to satellite launch vehicles. And we make all of them. Out defence procurement is just that shit.
Auh auh
Electronics that required in consumer products which u wrote are mostly imported and assembled here be it fridge TV or anything else
Just chech the data of our electronics import from China
Coming slv those are not being mass produced for commercial purpose they are built in limited nos for national requirements so not sufficient for ecosystem

Then how did Iran manufacture those electronics? Or did they import directly from China or what?
Look their entire defense research is based on drones and missile systems they have no other work so good amount of concentration is given to it
Coming to parts look there was a report that some Canadian rc engine was found in Iranian drones if they are using western equipments then just imagine what China would be giving them

We have our drones right what's the problem with them?
We are in good shape when it comes to loitering munitions and swarm capability . Many companies are involved and its progressing well . Might as well be among the top countries in this field .
But Male hale drone development has been a joke . Countries have become global exporter and managed to develop stealth drones with standoff weapons in the same period .

Japan-India going deeper than ocean, taller than himalaya. Hope we get the UNICORN system from the Japanese. I wonder if the Australians will have more nuke subs than we do pretty quickly under the AUKUS deal.
