IAF jet crossing LAC

Dude you selling snake oil now ? I saw this, previous week sentinel imagery, this is just some optical inference. Either image processing error, or some radio source interfering with the optical sensors of the satellite.

Chinese don't want Hundreds of Casualties which will happen once Shelling Starts

The Terrain in Ladakh is So Difficult that Gaining a Few KM For Some Period of Time and Loosing Several Hundred Soldiers makes NO Sense

You can occupy territory only if you have supply lines

So moving forward but getting Cut Off
From your Supply Lines is Suicidal

And From November Winter is Coming

They have already spent 2 Winters there

It has something got to do with Xi's continuation into 3rd term as CCP supremo, elections are near.

Gogra-Hotsprings was final bone of contention (barring legacy issues).
he is assured of that. I am mate more worried of what we gave in

Does this news of disengagement mean anything in absence of information as to past/current positions and change thereof! It serves only one purpose, to show win-win to both sides without disclosing anything in public domain. Democracy and autocracy seem to be working in same way atleast in this case!

What has Happened is that China has become Bored and Tired

Gogra -- PP 15 was the Most difficult Point during Negotiations

They have Realised that they are Not gaining anything by just being present there
PP15 is almost a non-issue. They intruded pretty far in May 2020, but after some talks, they went back by June-July 2020 only. This disengagement is for troops to return from eye-to-eye situations with each other.

so now some apps will get restored I feel? Aliexpress can be a good start :troll:
Chairman XI/Xer wants to meet modiji in the upcoming summit..will see how long the disengagement holds
Pretty unlikely unless China completely returns back to pre-April 2020 positions, which includes disengagement from Depsang and Demchok as well, plus buffer zones are not really disengagement, just temporary pullback of troops from direct confrontation.

Also, the fact that blood has been drawn this time, relations are unlikely to go back to being benevolent in any near future.

Fear not, yours truly will verify and let you folks know. GoI might lie, satellite images do not.

chinese wanted us to move all way back , 2 steps back for us , 1 step back for them . we wanted equal disengagement.

:dude: i hope we didnt accept chinese proposal.
Chinese permanent base is just 4 km from the disengagement point, whereas ours is 14 km with meagre road development. This area is among the most remote area in whole of Ladakh, not even nomadic tribes live there.
