Wishful thinking. Army wants everything hidden. I don’t know what’s the upside of such policy.

I think we killed 9 of theirs in past 3-4 days ,this was for their morale boost but they also lost 4 and I am sure retaliation will be there ,I just want army to publicise the retaliation after its done, coz our casaulities get publicised like this but not our retaliation or assaults, even if they are inside pok we can just say we killed them at loc.pakis get away with hiding their deaths and here they get free publicity.

You cant cut grass until you remove from rots , its not about 7, 70 or 700 everything will be without result unless we remove 370 from kashmir , and force take action on separatist , master mind .


Govt need to work on kasmir very effectvely and no media coverage should be there for at least 2 years . even a small country SL took action on LTTE , Cant we ???

Since Pakistan Army has continued with their provocations, it proves that our response not been fit for purpose. So we should give them a very heavy response and make it public.

Srinagar, Aug 7: Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) has said a “handful” of its men inflicted heavy casualties on the Indian Army in a “fierce” gunfight at Gurez in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Tuesday.

Lashkar spokesperson Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi in a statement issued to GNS said, “Earlier today, a fierce battle took place at Gurez between a handful of our mujahideen and thousands of Indian Army troops who despite being in massive numerical superiority resorted to heavy weaponry, artillery bombardment and support from unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).”

“Despite all this, our mujahideen inflicted heavy casualties on the Indian Army which itself has accepted that an officer of the rank of Major and 3 soldiers were killed,” he said.

Ghaznavi said “our post-battle assessment reports suggest that 12-16 Indian troops including 2 ranking officers were killed during the face off”.

“The Indian Army quickly retreated to its safe zones and resorted to use of heavy weaponry and artillery bombardment from the safety of its bases. The massive bombardment was ineffective as is usually the case. The complete details of the battle assessment report will be released later,” the LeT spokesperson said. (GNS)

Reading the article suggests it was more than a BAT raid. IMO SSG may also be involved and this was a big operation. How much IA foiled their plans only they know.

A nuke in practicality is not the first choice IMO. we do not want fallout.
Best option is a neutron bomb dropped on the other side of LOC.

If elections were to be factored in, it would help the party if public sees some big retaliation.
This is not Pak that our army s response is correlated to elections. Army wl choose when n where to retaliate.

IA needs political go ahead to retaliate in the manner they have not done before. IA is not a rouge Army like PA to be doing stuff without political clearance. Big retaliation favouring elections is what we think, but it so appears that BJP thinks differently and that is why the rhetoric has tonned down. Or at least that is what it seems to me. Or else there have been plenty of opportunities which PA has presented to us.

Why would BJP think differently. Even S.S 2016 was said to be done to influence upcoming elections. When videos of S.S were released few months back it was again said it was being one to influence 2019 elections. Demo was linked to U.P elections. Election excuse can be given all th time, coz we r a country of elections. Doesnt mean it has to be true all the time.
