So this whole incident has taken place at own post ABAAD GUTTHARR located at keran sector Kupwara which has seen many such attempts in the past also.But this the no of BAT members was way to high.

On 26th September, 2017 at around 1300Hrs a Pakistani BAT(Border Action Team) comprising of 7 terrorists attempted a nefarious attack on our ABAAD GHUTTAR post situated at the foothill of Shamsabari Ridge in the Keran sector of Kupwara. When the attempt was being carried out, enemy forces holding defences at cluster complex (which is a consortium of big and small posts) indiscriminately opened fire on our posts in support of the terrorists and tried to lay down a barrage but our ever ready and extremely alert men in uniform thwarted the attempt by firing heavily on the adversaries, uncorroborated reports suggest that 2 BATs were injured in the firefight that ensued.

We should do something similar to what the Russians did to the Chechens (atleast in the last Chechen war)...Most of the Terorists were hiding in mountains and forests....The Russians used a combination of Artillary/ Air Strikes and Intelligence specific targeted Spetsnaz strikes to wipe them out.........

I know, our ground situation is lot harder as we have to deal with a rogue nuclear state, but maybe we can use it on a smaller scale...... In any case our Army knows best, what to do and when....

I would like to add to the above that ...Proof of the pie is in eating....Russia proved to the world that even the best terrorist forces in the world can be defeated by relentless military operations and iron hand(in your own country/backyard)....Chechnya is one of the most peaceful muslim majority country now......

The Chechens are considered as some of the best guerrilla fighters in world ...Compared to them, these Kashmiri and madrasa chap pakistani terrorists are nothing.....

With time Indian Army will just wipe them out just like the Russians did......History repeats itself....

Well, the BSF has launched Op Arjun wherein retired Porki army, ISI, and Rangers personnel who have been given land and built houses close to the IB/LoC to aid infiltration of terrorist into Kashmir, have been targeted and many of their houses destroyed. As a result the DG Rangers had begged for a ceasefire in the affected areas.

The BSF should continue destroying all such assets to hurt the Porkis real bad. That's the only language these pansies understand.
