No offence, but ffs stop posting the same old pic from 'Know Your Air Force' over & over again. That's a paratroopers helmet worn during jumps, & not one that's put on during ops. Garuds have been spotted wearing this multiple times, but only during demonstrations!

Those SMPP vests that IA are getting looks a cumbersome.the groin and neck are optional but still it looks massive

There has always been a factor of Foreign help when it comes to discourse regarding Pakistan.
The narrative always goes like this.
"We could this with Murican help we could do this with Israeli help" etc etc.
It's as if People don't have any hopes of dealing with Pakistan in their own, this is reflected in several research paper published by both foreign and desi think tank whether written by Indian or a PIO.
Goes to show we don't value self capability more than we like to keep foreign influence in the equation to deal with Pak.

Before 2014 and to a little extent even now Indian envoys used to lap up to International councils like world Bank and UN.
Getting a letter of grievance and support was consider to be a great success after every terrorist attack, thought's of big symbolic retaliation was a haram and the plans never materialised outside the waroom.

RR was established for counter insurgency purpose so they should raised a cracked unit for eliminating the holed up terrorists. This can relieved sf and let them concentrate on their purpose but this does not happened.

1) @AVINASH4061 sir, when you used to use body armour were the plates imported or indigenous?
2) We have so many companies in India that are atleast able to produce half decent to decent armour plates and plate carriers but we never order them. Both MKU and SMPP have said that Indian sales are just a fraction of their overall sales and majority are to foreign countries. I can see why most companies don’t even bother doing any R&D here and prefer doing JVs with Foreign OEMs.
Hope and pray they are able to get significant orders soon in the immediate future. Can be anyone MKU, SMPP, Armasen etc, hopefully Gearsmith too once you guys get up and running.
