As in the carbine RFI for the army, it was mentioned that both adjustable and folding stock is required, but if this is heavily stressed upon AR 15 rifles would be eliminated due to the buffer tube in the stock, many in the small arms thread were wondering how essential is the requirement for a foldable stock?

800mm is still a bit short.. Not many will make the cut without compromising on barrel length.

Only Indian made P-72 Carbine meets the RFI as it has a foldable and adjustable stock, don’t know the specs if it’s length with extended stock is more than 800mm or not. Other than that only FN SCAR and CZ BREN are left, SCARs are banned to us, and CZ BREN is a copy of SCAR.

Ya'll Nibbiars our MOD's babus will drag the IP right's even here and stop the productiob's If selected. Rememebr the Ishapore Rifle. What happened then. And we should keep the IP's right atlest the International ones out of the Small arm's. And only like that our small arms manufactures can grow.

Finally the samples arrived today. A few corrections are yet to come in. Nevertheless it's polyester plus spandex, moisture wicking and antimicrobial. The photos are today after a 6 km run, it was humid here in Gurgaon with 65% humidity and the moisture wicking did a fine job. Sending it to Assam, Gandhinagar and Manipur for the actual validation. The material is at par with any Nike,UA or Adidas Tee. Your suggestions and criticisms are welcome

Based on first impressions it looks good, could you disclose what problems did you identify perhaps after wearing it?
Edit: It also looks a little tighter around the collar not sure if it’s intentional or it’s a sizing issue. But for a first prototype it looks good.
