You've said the MCX does not have an adjustable stock here.It doesn’t have a adjustable stock.
Babus don't frame the GS QRsBabus you mean sir
Lol
What rank officers write the GSQRs?Babus don't frame the GS QRs
Yes I had my kit, all imported from outside. I didn't have a plate carrier though. Few very people are willing to import these things at exorbitant rates. Also their design module is not exactly the way Indians prefer.@AVINASH4061 sir, I remember you mentioned that you purchased your own ear like ruck sack n all for your use right? Did you attempt to purchase a plate carrier for yourself from outside and has anyone tried importing these themselves ?
Absolutely trueBureaucrats in MoD doesnt choose the specifics but the army top brass. So if the GSQR is shitty and unrealistic like the earlier multi caliber assault rifle tender then the only one to blamed is the army top brass who signed it.Most times GSQRs are tailor made for one single company.
And the reason for that?@AVINASH4061 may I know when did you leave para sf
No just a curiosity becoz I want to see the time-line of sf degradation as per current standardAnd the reason for that?

Sir SiG MCX fits into Indian Army carbine RFI but is 100 grams heavier than required (also an expensive gun, can also be used with .300 BLK cartridge to eliminate old AK-47 usage).2019

Is there anyting so special about it for its high cost? Is it due to it being piston driven as opposed to DI? Or because it is ergonomically similar to AR15 but is still able to fire with stock folded n all?Sir SiG MCX fits into Indian Army carbine RFI but is 100 grams heavier than required (also an expensive gun, can also be used with .300 BLK cartridge to eliminate old AK-47 usage).
