There is no scope on rifles and for modernisation aswell.

I sometimes feel that Indian SF is like that hoe who keeps telling u that they are so decent and as soon as u take her home u have her mouth full

they have given so many interviews and press release after the new sky diving equipment just to showcase how advanced their training is when half of the time they look like taliban having no idea and figuring out what to do with the scope on a rifle

I would really suggest SFTS to hire a Amreeki or Israeli and teach them the new era of warfare post iraq and Afghanistan

china is modernising and they are and will be very far ahead in soldiering soon.

I agree with most of what you've said but there's a lot of stuff that gives an insight into the mindset of the guys at SFTS, i'll try making/finding clips out of these videos...a lot of newcomers and even older guys will get a grip of the situation over there.

Sure one could write 1000 words on the weapon handling/equipment deficiencies shown here as well as a whole host of less than dynamic impressions one gets but the real issue is a ‘special forces’ unit moving around in broad daylight and largely demonstrating infantry capabilities

but nothing shown here screams ‘special forces’ the average paratrooper in NATO can do all of the above

This so where they say all new equipment and tactics of Paras are developed/tested

if you can’t even get the basics right here then it says it all about the health of the entire regiment

Similarly a few yrs later Maj Avinash called out for Sniper training, so they will now show that "look we have begun this also". The biggest reason for us not to change is, firstly that not enough people are calling out the mistakes and educating people. Secondly, not many people give a shit.

If the internal feedback mechanism is so broken that only external pressure evokes changes then there’s a lot more going wrong than a lack of high cut helmets.

these guys are paid to be ready to defend from the enemy, if all they are doing is sitting still and collecting their pay whilst their brothers perish needlessly and the enemy gets more sharp then the game is lost before the balloon has even gone up

Inspite of training with multiple foreign operators, dont theys realise that the have a fairly unstable gripping technique.!!
