Don't think so, cause mostly host nation provides equipments and I don't see any Russian wearing one, infact they haven't even brought the high cut helmets.Joint exercise. Must have begged to Russian to let them use it for one time!!
No, those aren't comtacs. They cover only one ear. Even we have a few of those. See ADGPI's Para promo on YT. But they are just about the same as what Para use in the field, the only advantage being that they can be attached to the helmet. And they are bigger and more cumbersome. Useless, that is why Para don't use them much IMO.Joint exercise. Must have begged to Russian to let them use it for one time!!
Large amount of IED was recovered, it is serious as it happened after huge air activity by porkistan.Any more updates on the Toll plaza op? The PM was briefed about it, doesn’t seem like a standard encounter
SF involvement seems to have been pre-planned. This was an ambush it seems like
JKP SOG plays the major role in this operationAny more updates on the Toll plaza op? The PM was briefed about it, doesn’t seem like a standard encounter

My guess would be intel based op. The forces knew that there was going to be an attack, and were dealing with trained terrorists, and hence called in Para SF in case of worst case scenario. And they were nearby. Nagrota is where 15 Corps HQ is, if I'm not mistaken. Was definitely going to be an Uri style attack..

Very interesting nonetheless. We use the FIBUA system here in India.Sorry my bad. It came to my youtube feed only today.
Hope one day we can see them with dual or quad nvgs.
nothing to do with special forces, please find the appropriate thread
Oh man, haven't seen a cornershot about in a long while.
Nothing wrong with a magwell grip per se. Sure it's not the best, especially in CQC - but if you've been clearing rooms or rucking it across terrain for hours, holding it by the magwell is pretty much the only way you can keep your support arm from giving out due to fatigue. On a side note, those guys don't even hold the M4 the proper way. They're using magwell grip. Even IA infantry doesn't do that. Speaks volumes about their training levels.
Looks like that's a ROMEO series sight from SIG as well.NSG commando with SIG MPX.
That gun looks so sεxy that it's kinda orgasmic.

IA infantry doesn't do it because our infantry rifles (INSAS, AKs) don't have magwells outside the receiver. They just have the mag itself. Holding it improperly there might actually unseat a worn-out mag. Still have seen some of our guys do it. A MARCOS member was holding MP-5 by the mag (terrible move).
Btw, the guy in red square is actually Russian.
Most likely cause it happened in Jammu and not Kashmir, and the terrorists were Paki Jaish who infiltrated from across, so stakes are slightly higher compared to your average local militant. SF were also called in Nagrota last year in almost identical encounter, although CRPF QRT had already eliminated the terrorists by then. Not sure if that was the case today as well.
