Not quite, as boundaries are based on prominent physical features. At F4 the east west orientation of lake changes to North south axis. So having 'seen' their maps, we were not in fault in claiming their claim ended at F4.

Nice map, so the 'disputed'/contested area is the one east of "China's claim line of 1960 which it reached in 1962" correct? Sure hope it is not west of that! Because that means they have gone further than what they reached in 1962. By this map, a pretty large section of Pangong Lake is with India. And 4 fingers east of the Chinese line of '62.

Question: is any area west of the Blue Line, and east of the Chinese reached line, now with India?( i.e the area from Khurnak Fort to Chip Chap? Or did India lose all that post 1962.

India lost most of the area in 1962, the chinese were planning it for many years and we never taken proper steps against it
