Question to @IndianHawk @LETHALFORCE. Anyone else can also chip in it would be great.

You 2 were talking about the Engine JF-17 selected for their block-3. That Pakistanis still don't want to trust Chinese Engine says something. Because in some articles I read Chinese confidently said their engines can survive core temperatures of upto 2,000C and 2000 flight hours used in J-10s and other aircraft. Even one western analyst said Chinese have arrived on stage when it comes to Jet Engine development. But how much they have improved? Have they built anything close to GE-F404 used in our LCA Tejas in operation right now?

Another question with respect to AWACS and RADARS. Pakistan has 2 types in operation. One is Swedish SAAB Erieye 2000 and another is Chinese Shaanxi ZDK-03K Eagle. Swedish platform is more expensive even though AWACS platform is run on turboprop and they are always one phone call away from Uncle Sam to not provide support and sell anymore of SAAB Erieye 2000. But Pakistanis recently still went for SAAB Erieye 2000 discarding Chinese ZDK-03 Eagle. Does it mean Chinese haven't matured in Radars? The talk of the town with respect to their purchase of S-400 from Russia is they wanted RADAR tech used in S-400 more than the air defense they need.

In short I am asking how far Chinese have progressed with respect to Jet Engine technology and AWACS? Looking at Pakistan's choices, whenever they have a option for going for Western tech, they always go for Western tech over Chinese tech even though they are damn expensive for struggling economy with peanut forex reserves.
on both points Chinese haven”t matured in engines or radar. If Chinese cannot steal it they cannot make it. I read an interview with a Russian who was asked about Chinese reverse engineering Russian engines. He said it is impossible to reverse engineer the engines without completely destroying them and still not getting an idea how to do it? Why did Pakistan insist on Chinese planes coming with Russian engines? Why do Chinese still use Russian engines? How many generation of ws have come out? Don’t believe everything you read many articles are paid pieces even by experts. If Chinese are using s400 what does that tell you about their own radar ? In awacs I don’t see them beyond 30 year old tech nothing new stolen by them. One simple example they still cannot make and install a rotating rotodome AWAC.

Here is the article from Janes on the matter, quoting an unnamed State Department official . Take of it what you will.

Update: US highlights CAATSA risk in Indian fighter procurement
by Jon Grevatt

The United States government has urged India to reconsider its planned acquisition of Russian fighter aircraft, a move that risks potential sanctions under the Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (CAATSA).

In comments to Janes on 26 June an official from the US Department of State did not make specific reference to the Indian Air Force (IAF) procurement but said that India has not been safeguarded from possible penalties under the law.

The official said, “Without commentating on private diplomatic conversations, I can confirm that we urge all of our allies and partners to forgo transactions with Russia that risk triggering sanctions under the Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (CAATSA).”

India is considering the acquisition of 12 additional Sukhoi Su-30MKI combat aircraft (pictured) from Russia. However, the US has said it urges allies such as India to “forgo” defence transactions with Russia. (Irkut)

The official added, “While we cannot prejudge whether a specific transaction would result in sanctions, it is important to note that CAATSA does not have any blanket or country-specific waiver provision. “There are strict criteria for considering a waiver, and each transaction is evaluated on a case-by-case basis. The Secretary of State has not made any determination regarding the significance of any transaction involving India.”

The comments come after Janes reported on 19 June that the IAF was looking to fast-track the procurement – valued at about USD1.4 billion – of 21 used Mikoyan MiG-29 and 12 new Sukhoi Su-30MKI combat aircraft to boost its air combat capabilities.

The move is partly in response to heightened border tensions between India and China. The IAF would aim to take delivery of the aircraft in 2022."

No I think they can be used if they are already installed. Tik tok is not available on playstore as of now but UC browser is still there.
It doesn't matter. Already installed app will not generate revenue for app developers through google ads or apple ads. Although tik tok can do manual advertising like they show videos of other apps in between. Also it will be burden for tik tok as they have to pay for data and servers for Indian users without any major revenue.

Permanent solution is to cut off their network from Indian Telecom.

Lets say we get rafale today, then how long more till it gets combat ready to be deployed at lac?
Combat training is only possible after planes land in india and detailed training manuals are prepared by TACDE pilots. Will take 2.5 yrs at max. Combination training will be given to the pilots and tactics will evolve for operating together with other IAF aircrafts such as Su30MKI. As of now we can use Rafael for air to ground attacks.

One question guys .....Israel is providing s sam which was in their inventory.....
Why Russia didn't provide an in-service s400

Seems India asked Israel for the same....
Because India has no experience in operating s-400 .. if India got MRSAM from Israel, then, India already has experience in operating it.. Between, knows definitively which system is it.. Is it BARAK MX with BARAK ER missile.. or plain old MRSAM..?

China ‘deploys’ S-400s, IAF has war gamed the scenario multiple times for air ops.
India has also pushed in more air defence and radar systems in Ladakh since 20 May giving India a full view of the deployment and activities across LAC.

If it is MRSAM then it could be BARAK MX which were produced originally for abzerjian

#Myanmar :: Brig Gen Zaw Min Tun, the spokesperson for Tatmadaw (Myanmar military) has said that a foreign country (#China) is behind the #ArakanArmy (AA), citing modern technologies that AA has allegedly used in mine attacks on the military in #Rakhine state in 2019.
Looks like Ping Pong President will go down from all side. Hope Myanmar show spine and single them out. India need to play active role in order to takeover Chinese control from Myanmar.

:dude: imagine training , doing this every day , becoming master .

Then one day you are mugged and the thief just shoots you dead . you just lie there grabbing your balls in a pool of your own blood.
Indian soldiers are expert in breaking necks and Chinese are defending their balls, result is well expected.
