Repeated statements again ? China cranking up the heat ?
until we have road connectivity everywhere at LAC better for us to stay quiet at this point . otherwise it will be galwan repeat .

best do what the Chinese did at south china sea , talk of peace and prosperity , wait till all roads/tunnels are in place then start pushing chinese out of LAC and indian border areas

These bunkers, according to some reports, will be able to withstand a 100-m direct hit from an MBT like T-90. They have undergone extensive trials in the western and eastern sectors
Hmmmmm

Isn’t Bhutan’s security an Indian responsibility? Last time hadn’t we stopped Chinese construction in the disputed region? What changed?

Chinese are upto something

I am sure it is not in the interest of chinkus to resolve the border issues cuz fuckers would lose the most important bargaining chip. And neither is it in the interest of us - frequent disputes keep the pot boiling, the element of surprise is neutralized (at least partially), helps us connect the frontier regions better, keeps a large contingent of pla troops engaged (direct concession on the Taiwan front - not that they have the balls to go for an outright invasion anyway) and plays out favorably for us because one thing we aren't short on is manpower (shiny toys are pretty much useless in high altitude warfare).

It is, but Bhutan itself doesn't identify them as a "threat" or "encroachment", rather just "dispute". Its like someone's house is being robbed, but when you go to save them, homeowner tells you to mind your own business as this is their internal matter.

During Doklam, China was encroaching & moving forward towards an area (South Doklam) where it will give Chinese troops direct LoS to Siliguri corridor, thus impacting our national security, hence we intervened.

After that, Bhutanese media spun the story in such a way that we are being overbearing and interfering in Bhutan's internal matters.

As India gears up to test another nuclear ballistic missile in the coming weeks, a new Chinese spy vessel has begun its movement into the Indian Ocean Region (IOR), raising concerns about heightened surveillance in the area.
