Don't know the veracity of the article, doesn't seem like any good source, but rather kind of blog post.
Scrambling Rafale and Sukhio-30 every now and then will take a toll on our aircrafts. Su-30 availability is already low and the spare parts are hard to come by with Ukraine war playing spoil sport. IAF need to manage it's assets better. There is no point in scrambling the jets to scare off Chinese jets. They are doing it to check our response time perhaps. They do the same with Taiwan. Better have a squadron of Tejas and S400 unit to handle the Chinese Jets.

The bitter pill to swallow that Chinks are at advantage. They are having advances in technology, infrastructure and in quantity, too. Bahaduri apni jagah aur unko ek achchhi kit... achchha support, achchhe weapon, achchha infrastructure dena apni jagah...

Looks very cheap . They can deploy 100s of those .

Well it can , remember it has ranged weapon aka atgm
Those tata lsv atleast some of them need to ve armed with vshords which will again take a decade of procurement cycle.
Sometimes I think indian army was more promptly and well equipped in 60s and 70s compared to today

I think IAF should seriously consider deploying both Tejas squadrons to the Eastern front

There is no technology, infra, quantity that can let any country wage a war across himalayas.

Just look at how USA struggled with their war in Afg. They were literally at Pakis mercy for supply chain.
Good luck to China managing their warfare and supply chain for a week across Himalayas.
Few missiles getting across and destroyed critical roads is that would take to end any Chinki invasion.

Wouldn't it be the same on our end as well regardless of who initiates the conflict? So essentially it will get gridlocked within a few days and from then on its Somme - few inches gained/lost each day for the cost of hundreds of lives.

It would be worse for us if we ever try to invade China.
There is no winning for any of India and China crossing Himalayas to start a war. It will end up a massacre.

they dont need to cross it .

Tawang is pretty much 'on' the himalayan range . their road network is also closer to LAC than ours.

we will keep saying no winning - no war until it happens.
