I have a bad feeling about this

Sanctioning Russia and sanctioning China are two very different ballgames.

The question to be asked here is:-

1. Will the USA & it's munnas implement/enforce the same set of sanctions as against Russia?
2. How many dead bodies is the US regime willing to accept for the defense of Taiwan?

A hot LAC & hot LOC good for US MIC business. (Now, more so as Russia is sanctioned)

Similarly "hot" CCP-Taiwan ADIZ is also good for US MIC business.

Maybe there is convergence between CCP & US for 1+1 with Taiwan being the sore thumb.

CCP is still largest trading partner of USA.

What are the aggressive steps that US has taken to curtails the economic rise of CCP?

Sanctioning china will be a disaster for the global economy in the medium term , the world markets will crash and a great depression type situation will be created which will be many times worse than the great depression itself . Nearly all supply chains in the world are china centric or atleast have some chinese Value addition in them . Russia was never fully integrated with the global economy in a big way and has 1/10th of china's economy but we're still seeing rising inflation across the world due to the sanctions .

A massive Covid-19 outbreak in Shanghai has stalled the planned launch of China’s third aircraft carrier, the South China Morning Post (SCMP) reported on Sunday, citing sources.

According to the publication, the vessel was expected to be ready this month, but the schedule was affected by problems with the supply chain.

The giant vessel, commonly known as Type 003, has been under construction at the Jiangnan Shipyard on Shanghai’s Changxing Island since 2017. According to the SCMP, the carrier was widely expected to be launched on April 23, which will be the 73rd anniversary of China’s Navy. Chinese media reported last year that the ship was expected to be ready in 2022.

Beijing currently has two carriers – the Liaoning, which was originally built as a Soviet ship, and the Shandong, launched in 2017. Type 003 will be equipped with three electromagnetic catapults, as opposed to ski-jump launch ramps used on older-generation carriers

Some years from now -

The 20th covid wave has stalled the planned launch of China's thirteenth aircraft carrier.

Meanwhile, India's third aircraft carrier is currently undergoing sea trials.
Indian navy has issued an RFI to test a suitable aircraft for their third aircraft carrier.

with the tussle between AC and subs. Our own 3rd AC might be stuck in RFI for many years. Already P75i makes me sad.

I think if you observe closely they are just rushing for covid testing. You could see the bottom side where there are folks with white robes and tables in front. Although, I wouldn't mind if that was a real protest.

In Indo China conflict, India will get unequivocal support from west
Nope. West is totally dependent on chink's manufacturing industry and trade. Expect west to only pay lip service on 'freedom' and 'aggression'. Moreover we are not white boys with blond hair and blue eyes like ukraine .
