The so called "Chinese Navy" is actually a Chinese Coast Guard or Militarised Coast Guard.

Your coast guard ships can only roam around 50 to 100 nautical miles. Your Coast Guard ships are more than your so called Navy Ships. Your Navy (in actual coast guard ships) don't have the capability of power projection.

Don't go by stupid Wikipedia articles.

And never call your Navy a Navy because it's not.

Geography is a major disadvantage for PLAN & A2AD is being implemented against China by Philippines, Vietnam. China thought it'd keep arming a terrorist state (Pakistan) and there wouldn't be a backlash ? Coming next decade CCP bullying of India is coming to an end & remember all your oil supply travels barely 150 kms from Indian territory. Next war won't be limited to mountains only.

By the way, are you aware of the fact that a lot of the withdrawing Indian soldiers were massacred in cold blood by the PLA troopers (they had breached past Indian lines and taken up blocking positions along the possible extraction routes) AFTER the declaration of the ceasefire??!! Apparently, the leadership wanted to destroy the very will of the Indian nation to stand up to them ever again.

He does have a point. Our numbers are pitifully lacking as compared to PLAN. But (there is always one of those, huh?), the primary air-defense missiles onboard their surface combatants, those being the HHQ-9s, were never designed to counter low flying supersonic/ high subsonic targets and if the performance of the S-300 systems in Ukraine to be of any indication, I say PLAN will get fucked up pretty bad.

Yes, heard about it from 1962 veterans. China was altogether a different nation then. Famished, poor, soaked in marxist communism and inhumanity. Human lives was considered cheaper than a gun. The classic-human wave tactics of throwing 300+ soldiers against an single enemy outpost such that your enemy will run out of bullets shooting. The soldiers at back would pick up the guns and scavenge from their own dead comrades for the next wave of attack.

Chinese, like Soviets during that time were also pretty brutal. Compared to that, post Chinese economic boom the current generation of tiktok soldiers are clutching on their manliness if sent to the frontline.
