Yeah, appeared too small for the number of bodies supposedly buried there, to my untrained eyes, at least.

So the above-mentioned area is ~148m2.

To note, the sign says ~500 casaulties of 1962 war, ~300 remains were buried in 1965.

So good 3 years after they perished, only remains would have been uniforms, scattered bones and other metallic parts like dog-collars, which they probably dumped into a shallow grave.

So nobody knows how many rest in those graves, as most would have been scavenged in the those 3 years.

Yes, heard about it from 1962 veterans. China was altogether a different nation then. Famished, poor, soaked in marxist communism and inhumanity. Human lives was considered cheaper than a gun. The classic-human wave tactics of throwing 300+ soldiers against an single enemy outpost such that your enemy will run out of bullets shooting. The soldiers at back would pick up the guns and scavenge from their own dead comrades for the next wave of attack.

Chinese, like Soviets during that time were also pretty brutal. Compared to that, post Chinese economic boom the current generation of tiktok soldiers are clutching on their manliness if sent to the frontline.

Has to be the IA. By the way, are you aware of the fact that a lot of the withdrawing Indian soldiers were massacred in cold blood by the PLA troopers (they had breached past Indian lines and taken up blocking positions along the possible extraction routes) AFTER the declaration of the ceasefire??!! Apparently, the leadership wanted to destroy the very will of the Indian nation to stand up to them ever again.

These winter jackets lot has been manufactured & issued before the digital camo was adopted. Army has to send formal order to manufacture the next batches with digital camo (which I don't think Army will do).
