They get a great propaganda value out of it. The media honchos have let it be known that China is ready to invade India. On the other hand Chinese have no capability to come forward with 50,000 Indian troops waiting to avenge 1962 defeat.
No they will not move forward with same number of troops with 40% conscripts with no aptitude to fight a battle. They will run at the first sound of guns.
Moreover whatever they can achieve with propaganda, then don’t want to fight, hence Indian media is to be blamed for lionising them with numbers. All those numbers are stationed opposite Taiwan, Japan and US fleet. Hence blame Indian web media.

The Modi government’s policy of denial and secrecy with respect to the happenings on the border with China must be stopped. To begin with, it must end all speculation and place before the Parliament, a White Paper giving details of the Indian territory under Chinese occupation complete with maps and satellite imagery.

The Modi government must pass a law similar to the China's new Land Border Law. There are reports of the Chinese model will be adopted by Pakistan along the Line of Control. Parliament resolutions are not laws. No matter the cost, India must replicate the Chinese model to manage and develop India’s border areas.

The Chinese aim is clear, is to ensure effective control and consolidation of the borders. The Xiaokang “border defence villages” filled with loyalists will create a buffer zone along the LAC.
