Agree that we have pushed a lot to boost border infra and road connectivity, but what aggressive strategy we going to implement when Chinese provokes through another incursion, atleast drop the medivel age combat, bullet not fired is advantageous for Chinese salami slicing tactics. We perhaps need a reincarnation of Maj Gen Sagat Singh, When the Chinese misbehaved in Nathu la 1967 he forbade use of boxing, wrestling, clubs etc he said to use guns. He even had fire of 5.5 inch medium guns opened on the Chinese. Although situation has changed now considerably but we must position our selves strongly when it comes to defending our frontiers

Chinese are unable to copy the Iranian drone (Shaheed 136) hence were forced to order the said number from Iran. This highly successful drone of Ukraine war cost only $20,000 but required a $3 million missile to shoot it down. Ukraine did not care much about cost of the missile as everything was free. In the end Russia ran out of its supply. Moreover, it was not accurate enough to target a specific location, hence the Russians discontinued It’s use.

Why China wants such a drone in so many numbers (15,000) knowing fully well that the device is inaccurate……. Anybody’s guess.

Guessing that some of these drones will be transferred to the Himalayan LOC region, that will require a defence against them. First defence that snow covered peaks play a havoc on its already low level of accuracy. Second, its payload is two small to be effective against forward areas. Third, it cannot hit on reverse slopes where most of Indian defences are located. That makes their presence at LOC much less effective, even though a swarm of these is fired.

Shaheed 136 is a terror weapon for civil structure destruction. The width of Himalayas is about 200 miles, hence it cannot reach any urban areas in the region.

We will also take casualties, and even if we do manage to inflict serious PLA casualties. Guess what, they will hide it, and what do we have? More National demorilization. They did this back then, they still will do it in the modern day.

They can and will hide their casualties, but in my opinion CCP/PLA leadership is not foolish and they will not risk a "loss of face" in the Himalayas especially when they are in a pissing contest in the Taiwan strait.
