yep it is a fucked up situation.

just 1 example - almost all USB boards are made in china . these firmware have nice big holes .

imagine what happens if chinese start putting in spyware/malware.

once Chinese start churning out cheap cpus / chips . just like mobile market. your average office/home computer/laptop will be comming with xijinping inside .

With global trade read supply chains becoming more accessible and free such comparisons especially during confrontations should become redundant. There is no wisdom in stopping something that you can manufacture at home. The decoupling will take a lot of time and it will also depend on how long the old monopolies will lose their grip before we catch will heavy investment in R&D, Industrial capabilities including procuring raw or key materials.

But still there are members in forum who say we don't lag behind China we have high end manufacturing and rnd capabilities, we are not behind electronics etc etc etc will those shits
Forget high end even spaces like phones laptops and electronics have no space for us
That's why I always say we are many many years backward compared to China wrt electronics and any other stuff of rnd

Pretty easy to scale up to high end manufacturing. PLI schemes for Electronics will do that exactly. India has land, energy, infrastructure, money,skilled talent, and top grade global corporations to make this happen. And the world is hell bent on moving away from China.

They bombed the camp 9km from border so no.
The border area is covered by thick forest and not fenced so it's difficult to figure out if bomb was actually fired inside our territory

Not possible the security arrangements in mainland cities is pretty tight and also chinese people don't really care about ccp soldiers that much it's rather CCP itself does not want to look weak so they fudge the numbers
