Really? Than why did Pakistan not use this "SD-10" AMRAAM level missiles against Indian fighters on 27th February? Pakistan had option of using JF-17s armed with SD-10s.

Why did PAF resort to usage of AMRAAMs? PAF violated the F-16 user agreement by which they cannot use F-16s Against India but they used and also fired AMRAAMs! Not 1 or 2 but 4-5 of them!

Just shows how much Pakistan trusts Chinese missiles that they are willing to even risk the F-16 user agreement.

The point is that BrahMos has no synthetic aperture radar, and there is no way to use the terrain to cover himself like the CJ10.

In the future either hypersonic weapons like Chinese DF17, CJ100

only way pakistanis can track launched low flying cruise missile is via their airborne AWAC radar , but i read that , tracking something small like a missile is hard due to noise from ground objects , the radar will have to *see* the moving missile against other large objects in ground.

We do have Scalp missile though if he is looking out for stealthy one. Even then France is going for supersonic/ hypersonic missile next.

Brahmos will have its hypersonic sibling entering the race too.

Though I agree we do need long range stealthy missile and hypersonic missiles to target East China and possibly a base in Vietnam or in South China sea will be much better.
