When soldiers are dispensable, civilians like you and me hardly stand a chance.

We are at least putting up some form of token resistance, border infrastructure development... I doubt we would have seen Rafales and S-400 ever under UPA rule.

Though I agree we must also indulge in such snatch&grab operations but way I see it, Govt. is preparing for one final showdown instead of allowing China to engage us at multiple places and wear us down.

Yes, pride and dignity takes a beating but look at the Chinese side when Weibo exploded with search requests after Shiv Aroors tweet on PLA casualties due to weather conditions during the first week of January. They denied it but the citizens know their Govt. is lying and here we have Govt. friendly media which usually gets the first soundbytes from ground zero make very confident claims. You can't ignore those though we have not provided any proof.

The Chinese only keep coming up with footage of the Galwan clash. Its like a loser who got laid once claiming to be the Prom King every Friday night.

This whole final showdown is a feel good thing. After 14 meetings and 14 fuck offs I don't think we are preparing for some final showdown.

What have the Chinese showed other than Galwan?

They came and shook their Dao's at our men, we fired in the air and they meekly went back. We outmaneuvered them not once but at many points.

The border issue needs to be settled. If we were in any mood to concede to all of their demands, our men wouldn't be posted there any more.

We are up against one of the largest military power in the world... and heck, even US hasn't drawn first blood from the Chinese like we have.

It is not over till we officially sign an instrument of surrender, grease up and bend over. This is not a quickie to get over in a couple of minutes.

One thing I have noticed is China stands to gain from every conflict going on in the world right now.

US will be busy with Russia and the middle east while China expands it's influence.

Pre 9/11 US was focusing it's attention on China but post 9/11 US ignored China.

It's as if they are extremely lucky or their foreign policy vision is top notch.
