More like they know we are begging in talks so won't take any serious action. Thus this bravado.

Lack of action has now resulted in Indians being picked from inside India too. Also did not know about this road being built inside in 2018.
So the road which this gentleman is referring to was built sometime between 2016-2017. Problem is that, whether it is inside India or not, depends on our interpretation of where the exact boundary lies. With Google maps LAC, it is around 900m inside our territory.

😑 what ur calling "information war" isnt even a war , the pakistanis fooled indians and world media.

we are fooling our own people , mate that isnt a war.

we should be doing what the chinese are doing , simply release pictures with no context / text through unofficial channels.

pics get more traction , doesnt matter if its irrelevant or taken out of context.

like the ones below taken from LAC , these were released internally without any context , minimal text .

framed perfectly to give wrong impression

but the gov needs a spine for that.
The inertia in the IFS cadre is abysmal. I am yet to understand the relevance of the impossibly difficult exams that they set. every year for UPSC and the selection of IFS. Jaishankar is a brilliant and measured man by nature and that makes him good. But I don't see others anywhere close to him.

China ‘deeply shocked’ as Slovenia’s ‘Trump’ Janez Jansa plays Taiwan card for ‘political gain

The Chinese Foreign Ministry on Wednesday said it is "deeply shocked" and "strongly opposes" Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Jansa's move to challenge the one-China principle, including dangerous rhetoric in support of Taiwan secessionism and his plan to establish a representative office on the island of Taiwan.

Experts said Jansa is playing the Taiwan card to cover his troubled resume, at the cost of dragging down the EU and complicating China-EU relations.

In an interview with Indian TV station Doordarshan :bplease:on Monday, Jansa falsely referred to Taiwan as a "democratic country" and called Beijing's response to Lithuania's provocations "terrifying" and "ridiculous." However, he did not reveal much about the possible representative office, which he said "would not be the level of an embassy."

This is why India needs to solve the kashmir problem within the coming decades.

You don't want some rando gawar in EU raising kashmir two decades from now.

Indian Army on Wednesday clarified it didn’t engage with the People's Liberation Army in Arunachal Pradesh, but did stop Chinese civilians from constructing a road in the Upper Siang district of the border state, reportedThe Hindu quoting officials and sources.
A Chinese team with road-building machinery and bulldozers reportedly entered the Bishing area of Upper Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh, which was later stopped by the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and the Army after locals informed them.

According to Hindustan Times report, troops form the neighbouring country entered Arunachal approximately a week ago, almost around the time when National Security Advisor Ajit Doval held meetings with Chinese State Councillor Yang Jiechi for border talks.
Amid the reports of intrusion, China on Wednesdayreiterated its stand saying it "never acknowledged the existence of Arunachal Pradesh."

"First of all on the border issue our position is clear and consistent. We never acknowledged the existence of so-called Arunachal Pradesh," Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang said.

"For the specific situation you mentioned (recent intrusion report), I am not aware of it," Geng said.
China claims Arunachal Pradesh is part of South Tibet. The India-China border dispute covered 3,488 km along the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
The intrusion came 4 months after Indian Army stepped into Doklam, a Bhutanese territory which China claims as it own.

Had it not been local MP Tapir Gao, who posted this incident on Twitter, it would have been well brushed under the carpet as usual. While we hand over the "bhatka hua" Chinese civilians (read agents) respectfully, China doesnt reciprocate with same.
