May be they are beating our soldiers . May they are crying while being beaten . They are humanbeings . Fighting on those isolated mountains in a rarified atmosphere where temp drops to -30 degree . Toruture and humilation of pows is nothing new in millitary matters . Pakistan has done worse and india has done the same .... This is a clear evident govt least cared about soldiers safety as they have not taken any step to speed up the armored protection carrier procurement even after Pulwama like incident. Spending diwali with frontline soldiers does not mean caring for soldiers, soldiers should be equipped with all protection gadgets while engaged in terrorist infested places. Still soliders forced to travel in SUVs with no basic armored protection that cannot even withstand a bullet fired from a pistol
Even smaller nations equip the soldiers with sopisticated armored protection SUVs. Its only us still use 4 decades old Gypsy in hostile areas

And given that defence is all about walking on eggshells, that's what the government is doing; creating precedence so that opposition does not accuse corruption & stall defence projects in order to give China an upper edge.
