So we believe GT now? I call this at best remote bcos if US had intention they would have taken it out when the islands were still under construction. SCS will happen when China attacks Taiwan but China will rather wait to see how US declines and the decline I have to say is very rapid internal and external directly impacting Taiwanese security. It will go hot if US gets desperate which I personally would give highest odds without a time frame. This might occur with a false flag or bait scenario like Vietnam and some other wars. We can hope for Japan to change their constitution and start building their posture a bit or be naive and let others control their destiny. US carriers are always present in that area as they have a huge naval base in Japan.

Nepal claims Indian cities Dehradun, Nainital under its ‘Greater Nepal’ campaign: Reports

The Communists of Nepal, addition to illegally claiming Indian cities in its ‘Greater Nepal’ campaign, has also laid claims to parts of Uttarakhand, Himachal, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Sikkim.

According to the report, Prime Minister of Nepal KP Oli has also been accused of taking huge bribes from China to push the anti-India agenda. The Chinese government is reportedly giving several million dollars to Nepal Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

Several Nepalese have taken to social media platforms and created a Facebook page called Greater Nepal that demands merger of Indian territories into Nepal.

According to the report, Prime Minister of Nepal KP Oli has also been accused of taking huge bribes from China to push the anti-India agenda. The Chinese government is reportedly giving several million dollars to Nepal Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

There are allegations in Nepal that Oli has deposited Rs 41.34 crore in a Geneva bank account recently.

Four months dwon the line but have we been able to discern China's intentions.

Well. intentions are a clear and unambiguous statement of courses of acation resulting in a desired end state. It can be implicit or explicit, the former being stated and letter discerned through course of events. In intelligence terms, it is discernable while establishing enemy force levels, capabilities, posturing, deployment, and actions directed towards a particular goal.

For example it must be clear that with three divisions, PLA can not Capture the entire Ladakh, It can capture only a few areas only.

Which areas? Well that depends on posturing and deployment, force levels and capabilities.

Why? Determine that by the importance and relevance of intended objectives being threatened.

In this context a Few facts :

* Maximum Indian territory in possession of China is Aksaichin. That provides more than adequate depth and security to Chinese G-219.
* The Northern boundary of Aksai Chin is along the mountain Ranges emanating from the Karakoram leading to the Kunlun Mountains... Generally in Line with Karakoram - Karatgh - Haji Langar
* The Southern boundary of Aksai Chin is generally the line of Kongka La , Gogara.
Hotsprings. - Lanka La.
* Thus the area of maximum activities - Depsang plains, Galwan, Cheng Chenmo valley ( Kongkha, Hot Spring, Gogra) are part of ares opposite Chinese held Aksaichin.

The assessed Chinese Deployment Now.

It is assessed that the Chinese have deployed one division in Depsang, Galwan, Kongkha - Cheng Chenmo valley )Gogra Hot Sring). All these would threaten Raod DSDBO.
Up to two Regiments may be on the Northern bank of Pangong Tso
Approximately nine battalions (one division could be in Moldo Sector). Moldo Sector is closely linked to the DSDBO road as also provides many other options to PLA. But it can also be considered a flank of Aksai Chin.

Approximately 350 km South of Rechin La down up to Chumur has not witnessed any major Chinese activities. Usual border guard activities noticed. The Chinese have not shown any interest in her so far.

Only Sikkim had witnessed one incident of confrontation,
PLA activities are reported to in areas opposite the boundary with Bhutan.

OK What to do?

Please Spell out the likely intentions of PLA.

How many arty regiment we are talking? 3 Divisions is still a huge number. I believe they are having two to three rocket arty regiment.

If an attack would come, it would be saturation based, IA deployments must be scattered enough yet closely linked enough to deter the rocket barrage. Once that finished, expect bombers to saturate peak targets or our forward airfields.

At least 2 Divisional push inside our current LAC is what PLAGF would think to force in. We aren't vietnam, so they might increase to even three.

Maybe because Hotan act as a better deployment airfield, more number of bombers can be placed there? In case we raid Hotan, they move it to nearby airbase or even PAF airbase.

However interesting question raised, they could've fired the ALCM from Tibet and it would've even reached Delhi. (CJ10 claimed range is 1500Km)

That is my exact question if it's a long range cruise missile why do you need to move the bombers to the
border?? IMO the cruise missile is a lie. Either way air launched brahmos will clear any PLA airfields in Tibet.
Maybe USA will let us USE b-52's to strike at the heart of China?? B-2 's from diego Garica will also be active.
