In spite of all this never should anyone be of the false opinion that the previous governments have done a better job at handling China, this is by far way better than how the UPA handled it before but honestly that is such a low bar to cross for any political party.
Its like Acing a IQ test made for donekys.

Remember Shushma Swaraj During Doklam she looked like a lioness compared to what we have now.

Solved Doklam dispute with ‘maturity’, without losing ground: Sushma Swaraj
Grace and Power at the same time.

This one is completely different actual soldier have died here and Chinese continue to eat and shit on our land.

This happened in Hong Kong! This peace and tranquillity is going to cost us another 62, thanks to some c*cks who think rat that is CCP can be appeased!
I don't think India is wishing away the problem through appeasement. If that was the case, the military would have been withdrawn from the front. Right now Delhi thinks that even whispering the wrong things can set off a military action by China (eg: "kick those Chinese away" by Bhosadiwale Chacha). But I think Delhi is overdoing this, and letting a lot of perception-warfare opportunities flow away untapped.

It's just that India needs to show more aggression on the perception-warfare front. After Galwan, China was rattled by the scale of outrage in India, and our response inspires hope in places like HK because we're the only Chinese neighbor that is unfazed by the PLA, and sent dozens of PLA coffins back to the Chinese mainland. The secrecy surrounding PLA KIA counts and their hush-hush funerals only added to the Chinese public's perception of the fallibility of the PLA.

Both late Sh. Manohar Parrikar & Late Sushma Swaraj is irreplaceable period. Now Modiji himself is surrounded by guys who are inept & don't know what to do.

You are right, only India in recent memory has handed over coffins to the PLA. Hope India has captured video evidence of PLA coffins - to be exposed at the right time.

^If China intends to walk the talk, then we have a major war coming.
Basically 11's schoolkid strategy is 4 steps forward, 1 step back. The 1959 claim line pushes the LAC a notch behind the current status-quo in the direction of Beijing. The Chinese offer is "forget about Aksai Chin, accept the benevolent 1959 claim line as a de jure international border (with no further claims from either side), and let's end this."

If Rahul Gadidhi was in power, both Congress and CCP would have sold this as a "win" to their respective public, since India would be getting territory it lost access to after 1962, while PLA would have settled a major territorial dispute. This would have meant re-drawing the outline of India on official Indian maps, while the Chinese official map wouldn't look significantly different from what it currently looks like. G219 would have remained secure, and so would the Karakoram Highway.

Thankfully, BJP is in power, we still claim all of Aksai-Chin, and chicoms can either stay around and face further humiliation at Indian hands (since they're unable to move in any direction), or fuck off back and restore the status-quo ante bellum as of 01/01/2020. <---this will be perceived as a defeat for Xi Jinping.

One big difference is Chinese were surprised by our action at Doklam . So this time they have come for revenge and are extremely well prepared.
2nd thanks to Covid our internal dynamics is less desirable than required.

The 19th meeting of the Working Mechanism for Consultation and Coordination on India-China Border Affairs (WMCC) was seen as useful but still didn’t seem to move the two sides closer to a breakthrough.

There remains still no indication of any Chinese plan to withdraw from the contentious Pangong Tso and Depsang areas even as a tense standstill prevails

Official sources described the talks as useful and significantly India and China agreed that the 7th round of meeting between the senior commanders should be held at the earliest so that both sides can work towards early and complete disengagement of the troops along the LAC

With Beijing reiterating its claim on 1,597 kilometres of Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh on the basis of November 1959 maximalist cartographical claim, national security planners believe that Chinese Army may use this claim to put pressure on the six other areas of differences in the western sector that have not been impacted in the ongoing standoff between the two countries.

Indian military commanders have asked troops to be ready to repel any PLA move before heavy snow takes over the theatre of contest in East Ladakh. <--- @utubekhiladi 's prediction may still come true .

The polar winds and snow will not only wreak havoc on men but also their equipment. Artillery guns and tank barrels freeze in such cold conditions. From November 15 to May, the top priority of the two armies will be to survive the cold at the heights.

Isn't the 59 claim line further east than the current LAC why would they be pushing westwards then, coercion tactics? were they spooked by Amit Shah's statement in the parliament? Do they want a settlement of border through coercion? Well as per maps it looks as if the 1959 claim line favours us can anyone point out our gains and losses if we accept '59 claim line?

No, a diplomat's job description includes verbal intimidation and bullying of the other side. Like the Chinese diplomats do.

If Jaishankar is relying on the military negotiators to do the intimidation while he restricts himself to all the tree-hugging peace-talk and verbal jugglery, then his role in all this is redundant.

Jaishankar's is a textbook case of why bureaucrats make bad politicians and worse ministers. They continue to think in 2 dimensions like bureaucrats.
Yes, this is not a balanced style expected from a smart diplomat...more of the same pussyfooting. No need to sugarcoat to look civilized. Think and become a barbarian to fight a barbarian...
