The design is getting more and more refined. I think we are going to phase a big problem in engine area once again because the proposed 110 to 120 KN thrust victor engine exist nowhere. Better we start working in this area as early as possible. We can think on Russian offer of derated AL31 engine to suite AMCA requirement. Best option shall be GE 414 uprated 116 KN engine with TW. However GE 414 has no TWC. I call need to be taken very soon. The most practical approach I can see is Russian derated engine. By the time that engine comes in, we may use GE 414 116KN variant without TWC.

@HariPrasad-1 , we need exact size of blade and engine radius to fit in AMCA. Size and blades of Al-37 is too big for AMCA! High melting point heat alloys, system with more blades and knowhow to decrease fuel consumption while in afterburner - if these things are not achieved, then K10 is just a dream. GE 414 EPE is suitable with 116 kN wet thrust.

I do not say the same engine should be fitted. Russia has offered a down sized engine. We can work it out within few years. I agree that F414 is an ideal choice but It does not have TW. Now if US develop TW specially for us than it will be very costly and time consuming. So we have to make a choice. I think we should consider russian engine. Though they are not very reliable as GE series, but we may do a bit of compromise for bringing AMCA faster. GE is ofcourse good but has no TW.

The problem with aircraft is that we dont create a lot of them, else we could have a series naming like ships
We have City class destroyers, Delhi, Koch, Bombay etc,
or the hill range class, like Sahayadri, Satapura etc

Should we follow these Vidhyut, Vajra, Vajrapat, Garjan, Tadit...
So, why shouldn't we use peaceful word... So came in mind name of season from them months...

I wasn't thinking about proposing name, I just thought about our tradition which we had to follow & we are get rid of that... Naming everything after one family, just thought about stadiums for ISL & I came to know that out of eight, three are named after one person who didn't permit team when we had opportunity to play in FIFA while FIFA offered to bear whole expenses, that was Nehru & another named after Indira.
