Mitsubishi X-2 Shinshin prototype. Now cancelled.Japanese 5th gen has fly-by-optics?

Wasn't it just a tech demonstrator and if I remember correctly they did build 1 prototype with fly by opticsYes. Or atleast they're planning to have it on the production models
Kaveri.....adaptive cycle engine?..... didn't get you there...110 kN is not the final, but initial objective. We wanted it for Tejas itself.
Now integrating a 150kN engine would make AMCA a heavy category fighter instead of medium. So as per design concept, it would not have any provision of any such engine. On other hand, Kaveri itself was a adaptive cycle engine, so any new derivative or engine coming out of DRDO would have it in them.
Yes, it was for their fifth generation fighter. They cancelled it after signing up for F-35s.Wasn't it just a tech demonstrator and if I remember correctly they did build 1 prototype with fly by optics
The United States will not allow Japan to really complete its own stealth fighters, the United States to sell weapons to Japan, but also at the most expensive price.Yes, it was for their fifth generation fighter. They cancelled it after signing up for F-35s.
It not only depends on US control over Japan Defence programmes. Since Japan has not built a 4th gen fighter, any plan for fifth gen fighter will be heavily dependent on companies like Lockheeed Martin, for airframe components and avionics. The United States will not allow Japan to really complete its own stealth fighters, the United States to sell weapons to Japan, but also at the most expensive price.
ITO coating is confirmed then
Is it really black , how will they contol black body radiation at higher at supersonic speed , it is inherent to all , or is it a part of a layer of paints .So adreshya ram is developed and tested
What is the rcs of amca jet using this ram coatingView attachment 78577
Production partner has to be identified and process established for LCA series. Then this will be cakewalk on AMCA. Tech will be ready and waiting for application.ITO coating is confirmed then
Let's avoid that thread for discussion,@porky_kicker ok, so every post have to be done individually... BTW, your posts aren't editable by me. They're all just showing report option only.

Btw, the wing design is just representational, right? Wont it have another trailing edge surface(near wing tip edges) like it was shown in the earlier models? Like f22s?View attachment 78616
@Bleh since this^ is the most up to date information on AMCA can this be posted in the AMCA MK1 thread?
A beatuful looking aircraft is now an ugly looking crap. Totally ugly.View attachment 78616
