110 kN is not the final, but initial objective. We wanted it for Tejas itself.

Now integrating a 150kN engine would make AMCA a heavy category fighter instead of medium. So as per design concept, it would not have any provision of any such engine. On other hand, Kaveri itself was a adaptive cycle engine, so any new derivative or engine coming out of DRDO would have it in them.

Yes, it was for their fifth generation fighter. They cancelled it after signing up for F-35s.

It not only depends on US control over Japan Defence programmes. Since Japan has not built a 4th gen fighter, any plan for fifth gen fighter will be heavily dependent on companies like Lockheeed Martin, for airframe components and avionics.

Is it really black , how will they contol black body radiation at higher at supersonic speed , it is inherent to all , or is it a part of a layer of paints .

Production partner has to be identified and process established for LCA series. Then this will be cakewalk on AMCA. Tech will be ready and waiting for application.

Btw, the wing design is just representational, right? Wont it have another trailing edge surface(near wing tip edges) like it was shown in the earlier models? Like f22s?
