Making a 5th Generation Fighter Aircraft is very hard
I am very proud that ADA , DRDO , HAL going for
5+ (AMCA) and 5++(AMCA mark 2)

induction by 2030

Only USA have the truly 5th Gen Fighter Aircraft

Su 57
Still Russian Su 57 faces problems regarding stealth, engines, avionics and reliability
After completion of AMCA project India will become 3rd country with truly 5th gen fighter aircraft

Chinese 5th generation fighter Aircraft

J-20

FC-31

J-20 and FC-31 both are exaggerating there capability with no real data available . Which defines there capability. There Stealth features are very disappointing. Indian 4th generation aircraft can catch J-20 very easily within 100 to 150 km IAF has said .

Japanese 5th generation fighter aircraft program
800px-X-2_First_Flight.jpg

X-2
is doing well (prototype) technology is independently developed by Japanese companies. but with no experience in developing there own 4th generation fighter aircraft and American not willing to share 5th generation technology to Japan like they did with F15 and F16 which Japanese used to develop there TT Mitsubishi F-2 Mitsubishi F15DJ
Possibilty of Japanese 5th generation aircraft (if developed) outperforming AMCA is very low. with Japanese admitting that F35 will fulfill there 5th generation aircraft requirements.
Japan is focusing on 6th generation technology now.

South Korea/Indonesia

KF-X

KAI KF-X program is a 4++ generation aircraft not 5th generation admitted by South Korea and said its has characteristic of 5th generation aircraft like India TEDBF for Indian Navy
south Korean KF-X does not feature INTERNAL WEAPONS BAY .. all the weapons will be attached outside.

With regards to Turkey and Pakistan
If Chinese koreans and Japanese can't developed a fully functional 5th gen aircraft than chance of developing proper 5th gen aircraft is very low in case of Turkey. Impossible in case of Pakistan.

TF-X
Problem Turkey face is funding , development of technology in very short period of time and no experience in 4+ generation aircraft development

Problem with Pakistan is they don't have brainpower

Well yeah besides stealth design its the technology,materials and sensors which matters most hope our development incorporates these stuff to the fullest

What all parts of amca have no research done yet.
Anyone know about stealth coating using meta material , iit kanpur has done some credible research on it . Last time i got info , they were using it for wide band stealth coating.

Sensor housing prototypes are being 3D printed using AlSi10Mg alloy. It is a critical component of a fighter, housing highly sensitive intertwined fiber optic cables that are connected to radar & sensors. It will be used on an upcoming Indian fighter with a fly by optics system.

@porky_kicker @Karthi @Bleh
Sir i have a doubt about amca , ut has similar lenght as of f 35 , but is less chonky and smaller fuselage , also it houses two engine for similar thrust , if we make it with similar fuel carrying capacity so how would we incorporate large number of sensor , mission computer , also airframe also have to be strong enough for its pylon to have that beast capability envisioned .
How will all be managed

AMCA is a medium weight category stealth aircraft , as mandated by IAF requirements. AFAIK only 5 th gen aircraft in medium weight category.

How will it all be managed ?

It has already been managed more or less , since the design has already been frozen. SWaP requirements dictates system / sub system designs , and not the other way around .

Visualization software gives the capability to see and feel the aircraft as in real with all the internals and associated systems / sub systems like LRUs , cables , structural components , avionics etc even before actual build.
