Critical Race theory folks are removing Asians from coloured category and counting them in white category.

note: south Asians don’t count as Asians for them
=========
We're at the point in the discourse when colleges have created the highly scientific and totally legitimate racial category of "Students of Color, minus Asian"

Gentlemen, for all the stuff that we post here, it only confirms that the USA is imploding from within. However, do you think that the corporations there think of it the same way? I don't think so. In fact, there are many movies where they glorify their country's identity linked to the corporations that control them and some sci-fi dystopian movies also project the United States to become completely corporatized as opposed to being called a nation, into a cartel of corporations in the future. Since their idea of nationhood is limited to land+taxes+rights, that's what makes it all the more real.

But has anyone here imagined what would be there to replace them in the future? The CCP is equally worse as their system is also mercantile & very, very materialistic. Chinese values are no longer relevant there and everything is about resource hoarding.

And we are not even close to consolidating our identity as a Dharmic civilization within India, let alone offering an alternative to the world. Not to mention that we do not have the military willingness nor the firepower to offer it to the world.

IBM unleashes the Eagle, the world's most powerful quantum processor

images (3).jpeg

IBM has unveiled the Eagle, the world’s most powerful quantum processor. Boasting 127 quantum bits (qubits), the Eagle is a major step towards commercial quantum computers outperforming traditional machines.
At 127 qubits, the Eagle is the most powerful quantum processor in the world right now, far surpassing China’s 113-qubit Jiuzhang 2.0, Google’s 72-qubit Bristlecone, and IBM’s own 65-qubit Hummingbird processor.
Eagle is now available on the IBM Cloud to some members of the IBM Quantum Network. The company has already outlined its roadmap for future quantum processors, with plans to release the 433-qubit IBM Quantum Osprey next year, followed by the Quantum Condor in 2023, which will pack an astounding 1,121 qubits.

This is one area where I admire the US. They know how to set the trend and dominate it as a deep state. They are not only at the bleeding edge of technology, they make the efforts of remaining on top. Something we Indians can learn from and badly.

The US sets the trend practically everywhere... Tech, fintech, banking, biomedical, agriculture, space, etc. What trend did China set?

You mean communist China.

Maybe eating disgusting stuff and making TikTok videos about it. :rotfl:

But on a serious note, they are compelling the world to pursue AI to catch up with them and are slowly developing stuff in competition with the West. They copied them off, and more often than not refused to accept allegations since much of the older Chinese inventions were plagiarized by the European colonials.

So CCP's logic is simple: use the enemy's narrative against him.

The Americans pioneered and are still ahead of AI. But China is catching due to lack of human rights scruples on AI experiments which are being conducted on mass scale on Chinese population.

But don't be fooled. The US and its closest allies will maintain edge in AI since it's of strategic importance.

I was talking about the trend, not the level of technology. China is forcing everyone else to catch up or suffer an invasion. Of course the US, Israel and some European countries are leagues ahead. They practically live off AI.

Rapid economic growth. No Nation in Human History has grown economically as fast as china did.

China's rapid growth is thanks in no small part to America - American capital, outsourcing, tech, processes and market.

Dramatic as its GDP growth rate may be, but it's nothing compared to its bullying growth rate. Only despots like China, and that's not a good sign of where its future is heading...

LOL. "Whites or Asians".
Even their technical terms display their ignorance. Refering to East Asia as Asians was something I considered to be a symbol of American ignorance.

At least they don't have Indian-Americans in the "whites and asians " category. Lets see how long that lasts. If their aim is to create a divide between meritorious races and the downtrodden freeloader races, they will eventually end up putting Indian-Americans in the "whites and asians and therefore persona non grata" category.

It's funny how satirical articles are used to justify projections towards America... confirmatory bias.

Look first into the mirror.... If these kind of fringe articles is the justification for claiming America is already on the decline then I'm afraid there are emerging countries/powers who are already on the decline even before they have emerged, let alone challenge America... :creepy:

Be glad, only a few people in India have caught on to this trend of reciprocity.
The day we see fair and balanced MSM coverage on India, we will not need to do this.

Don't be thin skinned. Free media is a requirement for an enduring democracy. Notice how American media (left, right or everywhere leaning) criticize everyday all parts of American society from its leaders, celebrities, businessmen, military, civil service, NGOs, etc. It's good if you don't hide anything, warts and all.

Having said that, criticisms must always be in the factual and intelligent realm. Pointing out fringe articles or worse untrue claims (not you) is not criticism, it's crude mind manipulation (targeting the ill-informed).

Yes, mate. Don't be thin skinned.
Since you mentioned "crude mind manipulation", Free media and corporate media are not the same. you (not you) try to create panic in India on vaccine shortages using MSM and SM, while pfizer is being evaluated, we know what it means.

Be more specific. Who was creating a wrong impression of vaccine shortage in India? And why is this claim wrong or unfair?

I don't think mainstream media companies (Bloomberg, CNBC, CNN, BBC, ABC, NBC, Reuters, AP, etc.) will willingly curry favor for private companies like Pfizer to the detriment of their reputation. I do not get my information outside of reputable sources. I certainly do not get it from Facebook (I'm not active) or crazy "news" (more like misinformation) sites.

Above all, I avoid generalized statements. As much as possible I try to be specific when looking at things.
