No, I don't have any source from any site.

Someone who works with defence related project told me, Once Rafale or Typhoon deal is done, after that we might Buy 40 MIG29 and even 40 more MKI to make the total number 101 and 312 respectively. But Whatever MKI we purchase, it will be only delivered after 2018. In case of MIG29, It will come by 2015. But this is speculative and not yet confirmed. So, can't say exactly !!

Yes, 270 MKIs by 2017-2018. Any further buy will come only after 2018, I said that only.

There is no connection between MIG29 and MKI. IF we buy some 40 MIG29, it will come from Russia only by 2015 and not to produced by HAL. (Like 45 MIG29 for 2 Aircraft carrier).

Although nothing is sure, So we will wait and watch for next few months.

40 mig-29 wont happen, i have not even heard any rumors about that.

If IAF feels it needs extra aircrafts means more MMRCA not Mig-29, if you are talking about Navy means Naval MRCA so there is no chance for more migs.

Better to order 40 Russian version of PAKFA, its better than Su-35, as these may enter the service by 2014-15, as our version will enter service 2017......

Where are the canards? How did the inlets get shaped? When did they get a bubble canopy?

People let themself confuse too much, only because some strange media reports said something about 5.gen capabilities, which can be AESA radar, modernised cockpit design, or even the addition of new passive sensors, but not necessarily stealth design!
The same has been said about LCA MK2 as well, when Indian media claimed it will have 5th gen capabilities, only because it gets new cockpit features. It's just the media that wants to sell sensational news and not stealth capabilities MKI!

Because they increase frontal RCS. The goal is to reduce it. Same reason Su-35BM doesn't have canards and same reason Su-47 was canceled.

The Su-47 was an X program. It was never intended to be mass produced. It was a prototype meant for testing 5th gen technologies. The Su-37 was the same as well.
