Technical trials proves that chart to be bunk just as the Sea Wasp engine specs are bunk and most everything published about Russian hardware specs. Some info about Zhuk-AE.
UTK, old videos mate, all are reposts.
Atleast post those videos in a single post.i do not deny that.. i thought this videos might help the newbies...
i am trying to get my hands on tejas videos at jaisalmer
Then that does not explain why SH was rejected or even the F-16IN. Their AESAs were more mature. However you can be happy with whatever you want. The fact stands that the MKI will still be ahead of either MRCA aircraft when they come in.Who is being silly? France brought its current AESA to the technical evaluation and breezed through it. Russia brought its current AESA and failed miserably proving their tech is crap. So the Russian AESA is just that... crap.
LOL. Nope. It will take much longer. Let's not forget Thales has no experience in developing and fielding 1m dia radars.More like 3 years as that is the time it takes for Thales to modify them for other applications.
Each vendor got their report back from the Indian technical evaluation, those fighters didn't have problems with their radars. Then that does not explain why SH was rejected or even the F-16IN. The fact when MRCA arrives, it will be the most capable and sophisticated aircraft in the IAF.Flightglobal said:According to Tellis' sources in the IAF, the F-16IN bid received low marks in the technical evaluation for a slow turn rate and poorer handling performance due to the addition of conformal fuel tanks.
Those deficiencies made the F-16IN less competitive in dogfights against older F-16 Block 50s, which are operated by Pakistan.
The Boeing F/A-18E/F Super Hornet was the US government's best shot to win the contract, but it was also hampered in the Indian evaluation by poor manoeuvrability compared to the European fighters, Tellis said.
Tellis: US fighters lost MMRCA contract due to technical faults
LOL. Nope. Thales is already making 3 different sizes of AESA radars and it take 3 years. It isn't physics but skill and everyone knows Thales has it. You cannot compare the R&D budget of France which is ten times higher than India or Russia.LOL. Nope. It will take much longer. Let's not forget Thales has no experience in developing and fielding 1m dia radars.
It isn't physics for you and magic for every one else. You cannot compare to the bigger budgets of Russia and India.
