Apathy shown by some Hindus in India towards the genocide of Tamil Hindus is very shameful. Hindu nationalists always ask why isn’t there more unity between Hindus of India and world well here is one of the reason. Sanatana Dharma have no friends even among there own fellow Dharmic faiths which were all created by piggybacking on sanatana dharmic concepts and ideology. Hindus in India for the most part always look at the war in Sri Lanka through ethnic lens but not through a religious or cultural one but the actions of the Sinhalese Buddhist nationalists against Tamil Hindu minorities speaks other wise. The Sinhalese Buddhist Sanga has played an active role in managing the war and have supported actions of Sinhalese government numerous times. They have deliberately bombed many Hindu temples and shrines during the war. They wanted to break the will of Tamil Hindus. Every Hindu should always support there fellow Hindus where ever they are. Hindus are always alone in this world and we only have ourselves nobody will come to help us out. .

Modi govt did try to overcome this by spending a lot of money in the neighbourhood, but the “vassal state” sentiment persists.
