IWI Arad can easily be the best weapon to get, we have the infrastructure readily available for production of it, is already made in India, has 11.5” barrel and an overall length (stock extended)(according to RFI Specs) of exactly 800mm (Indian Army RFI says overall length no more than 800mm and Arad has exact 800mm overall length).

Yes, Galil is very expensive hence out of question, a single Galil Ace costs 1.5x more than AK-203.

I wouldnt call tavour s bad but bullpup is not something that fancies me and many US special forces veterans also seems not bullpup fans

It is not the easiest thing to handle let's be honest
Have seen a video from a US spec op veteran talking about the pros and cons of these weapons systems.....
And the mag release.....only in the later variants they switched to M4 style mag releases IG

This is perhaps half truth because major improvements on HK416 were from HK's experience gained from improvising-fixing SA-80 series (L85A1 to L85A2) and G-36; Larry may have helped them tune the weapon as per preference of the US SF.
