MSMS will cry human rights. Dropping dead bodies in front of terrorist mohallas mutilated and stinking of alcohol and pig meat will fix them.
British media did worse to us in 90s so I can live with being scrutinized by Human Rights for a year or two. I bet it will take care of kashmir mindset of no reprisal from security forces ever. Commies are very effective with this tactic.

Kill all that shoots at us. Simple policy and extremely effective.
That's good, but I asked that chap few questions. NDA policy in Kashmir and the Grand event.
We all speculate but mil action and politics are two different things. LoC is hot like never before. Indian govt does not summon Bakistani High Commissioner any more for CFVs. One should not think that the attacks are going unanswered. You never know, the reasons behind the restlessness of the Failed Terrorist State of Bakistan.

Looks like its a game plan of chini they are the ones behind the pigs.
Chini angle can't be ruled out, Chinis have got their paap ka ghada full, now they are distributing some dirty work to Brain dead Bakis and North Koreans.

At the same time Pissful Pakis are trying to divert the attention from the Baloch and Pusthun protests which are becoming more prominent these days.

You can expect larger protests from Other provinces of Bakistan this year.

Actions speak louder than words. Pakis are blindly lashing out. A bullet a day keeps Pakis away.

Government sanctions Rs 1,487 crore to Army to boost perimeter security

The Defence Ministry has sanctioned Rs 1,487 crore to the Army to fortify its bases in Jammu and Kashmir, North East and several other places to plug their security gaps and protect them from any terror attacks, official sources said today.

The Defence Ministry has sanctioned Rs 1,487 crore to the Army to fortify its bases in Jammu and Kashmir, North East and several other places to plug their security gaps and protect them from any terror attacks, official sources said today. Clearing the project, Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has set a deadline of 10 months for the Army to carry it out. The Army headquarters has been told to monitor implementation of the project, they said. The sanction to the project comes amid heightened hostilities between Indian and Pakistani armies along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir and several terror attack targeting military installations. Perimeter security will be strengthened at Army bases under six commands, the sources said.

A security audit of military bases was carried out on the recommendation of a committee headed by Lt Gen Philip Campose which was set up after the daring terror attack on the Pathankot air force base in 2016. The committee was asked to recommend measures to beef up security at the military bases. Following the security audit, revised standard operating procedures (SOPs) were sent to the commands of all three services to revamp their security management, including putting in place a multi-tier security structure. A total of 3,000 sensitive bases, including 600 highly sensitive installations of the Army, Navy and the Air Force were identified by the forces months after the attack on Pathankot air base.

Separately, in July last year, the government had delegated “substantial” financial powers to the Army, the Navy and the Indian Air Force to strengthen perimeter security at sensitive bases across the country

Our govt. is good at looking for condoms after a pregnancy is detected. This should have been done after Pathankot and Uri. No wonder Pakistan thinks we are a joke !!

Guys please continue about the Sunjawan attack in CT ops thread

http://www.thehindu.com/news/national/life-along-the-line-of-fire/article22716595.ece

For over a fortnight, Barood Post had been peaceful. It was the last military outpost on the Indian side of the Tarkundi mountain range in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, and soldiers on either side were keeping a quiet vigil.

But the midnight calm was shattered on February 4 when the Pakistani Army fired a laser-guided, anti-tank missile. Barood Post caved in, taking with it a team of four soldiers, headed by 22-year-old Captain Kapil Kundu. They had all been inside the post at the time of the shelling. Three personnel were killed immediately, while the fourth succumbed later in hospital.

The Indian Army’s twin posts, the ‘Barood Post’ and the ‘Cheer Post’, are well hidden under natural foliage on a slope with a dense tree line. From their perch, the soldiers could look straight into the Pakistani army posts manning a village in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK).

‘Barood Post’ was also near the revered mazaar (shrine) of Pir Allah Dittashah Tarkundi. No one knows much about the saint except that his grave is reportedly over 200 years old. No liquor is consumed around the shrine as a mark of respect. The shrine survived unscathed in the shelling. “That blood was spilt here is not a good sign,” said Khursheeda Jan, 47, who lost her house in the shelling.

Located just behind the Army fence, the holy site is out of bounds for now. Earlier, the Army would open the drop gates of the fence on Thursdays to allow devotees into the mazaar. But following the attack, even the road leading up to Tarkundi’s last village is closed to civilians and journalists.

Vicious cycle

The locals live in dread of the next round of shelling. Four Pakistani soldiers were killed in PoK’s Jandrot Sector on January 14. Since then, Pakistani troops had maintained “a dangerous silence”, as a local police officer put it. “We were expecting a backlash,” he added.

The casualties inflicted on the Pakistani Army in the Jandrot Sector in PoK were again the result of casualties suffered by the Indian side on December 23, 2017, in Rajouri’s Keri Sector.

It’s an endless cycle of retaliatory violence that the locals have now grown all too familiar with.

India Conducts Unannounced Air Exercise near Doklam
February 10, 2018

By Bellingcat Investigation Team

This article originally appeared on Offiziere.ch

Commercial imagery acquired on 03JAN2016 shows up to 9 x SU-30MKI at Bagdogra Airbase.

Indian Air Force (IAF) rotations of SU-30MKI Flanker continued in 2017/2018 at the Bagdogra Airbase, likely for an unannounced air exercise. Previous commercial imagery acquired in January 2016 also showed a squadron level deployment of the IAF’s advanced fighter. Up to eleven Flanker were observed and nine were still visible by the end of January 2018.

Prior to the Bagdogra deployments, commercial imagery acquired in October 2017 captured the arrival of at least four SU-30MKI at nearby Hasimara. The flight of Flanker deployed for QRA duty likely due to tensions with China over the Doklam dispute. The QRA aircraft may have relocated to Bagdogra to fill out the squadron level deployment, as they were no longer visible at the end of December.

After the Flanker departed Hasimara, commercial imagery showed additional arrivals on the eastern parking apron. Imagery acquired in early January showed a flight of five Hawk MK 132 trainer aircraft. (The IAF & Indian Navy ordered 123 Hawk MK-132 jets.) The Hawk provide Stage 3 training before pilots progress to operational fighters. It’s likely the Hawk participated in the air exercise. Imagery suggests the exercise concluded within the month as the Hawk departed the airbase.

Not far from the Hawk, four MIG-27ML were also observed on the north side of the runway. India reportedly decommissioned the remaining MIG-27 at the airbase in late December; however many remained near operational areas in January. Previously, non-operational MIG-27 appear to have been cannibalized for parts and relocated south of the runway. India still operates the swing-wing aircraft out of Jodhpur and Gwalior.

Satellite imagery continues to show a larger number of fighter aircraft deployed at China’s Shigatse, the closest airfield to the Doklam dispute. With the completion of India’s air exercise and the decommissioning of the MIG-27, it will be interesting to see if the IAF will maintain the previous QRA flight or even a larger air element. Until we get additional collects, we won’t know if India is attempting to hedge against Chinese rotations.

Bottom Line: India conducted an unannounced air exercise near Doklam. Historical imagery suggests it was previously planned and may not be directly related with tensions in the area.
